Anyone else’s 6 week (nearly 7) still wanting to be fed every two hours? He’s bottle fed and has about 3-4 ounces per feed. The absolute maximum he will go is 3 hours, and that’s rare. In the evening it’s even worse, and can be every hour. He is quite a big baby, but I was really hoping the time between feeds would be stretching out slightly longer soon. After feeding him and burping him and sitting with him for half an hour, it feels like I literally have an hour (or sometimes less) to get stuff done before he’s hungry again!

My little girl is 7 weeks and exactly the same. She won’t take more. My first baby was very different and I had to wake him for feeds from day one. I think it’s normal but I am trying to slowly stretch it out. 3 hours is also our max!!!
It sounds like clusterfeeding/ a growth spurt..
I’m EBF (& give bottles of expressed milk) but experience the same thing.. think it’s important to feed on demand rather than give more at once feed during this phase
My 6 week old has between 4-5oz per feed if it's from a bottle, so you might need to increase the amount on offer? He might not take it (sometimes my girl has less than 4oz, then later has 5oz, but we offer 5 just in case)
Yep in the same boat with the exact same measurements. The HV said basically to do it as could be on a growth spurt x
In the same boat with my 5 Week old. And she was 3 weeks early too!
My little one has expressed breast milk and breastfeeds so has maybe 3oz a time at nearly 7 weeks and will mostly only go 2 hours all day until the evening then he gets really hungry and wants to have a bottle at 7 something then again one at 8 something before bed the last few nights. I feel like all I do is feed in the day!
