It depends on what he's trying to say, really. Most of the things he says are 4 or 5 words, but he does occasionally drop longer sentences of 7 or 8 words, like "pick up daddy from the train station"
The only sentence my son has said clearly is oh no Len no because Len let the cows out on tractor Ted 🤣 He’s a very bright child with excellent understanding but he’s defo a bit lazy with his words and he can be quite shy if you ask him to say something so I think that plays a big part with him! I’m not concerned at all at this stage. ☺️
The average phrase at this age is something like “mama go work”. Very simple and not usually with the ‘filler’ words. But it’s also just as normal to NOT be saying these phrases. My little boy only says mama and car…and even car is just the ‘ca’ sound and he doesn’t always do it in context so idk if he actually says it with purpose. Xx
At the moment, she’s just started to say a couple of phrases. Like “what that?” “Go park” “where ___ ?” The variation among the kids her age I know is huge! Some are speaking so so well, others are just saying the odd word.
