Hey mamas!
This is baby #2 for me, but I was induced with #1 so I have some gray area.
Part of me thinks maybe I’m starting to go into labor.
I’m 37 weeks and 5 days. I’ve had Braxton hicks and contractions throughout my entire third trimester. On Wednesday at my appointment I was about 4cm and 60% effaced.
I’m a bartender, and tonight and work I had painful tightening and INSANE vaginal pressure, walking at times was very difficult and literally felt like his head was in my cooch lol. It felt more intense than I’ve felt before. I had a little low back pain and when I used the restroom, my undies were soaked, but nothing was actively dripping. I’m home now and taking a warm bath/shower, I’m just trying to determine if this could be the start of everything or just how a body acts towards the end. I’ve also been very tired this week and haven’t felt the best, lots of tums and Pepcid lol

I’m in the same boat so I’ll sit and see what people say. 4cm seems like some things could be popping off some hospitals will admit at 4cm
4cm in UK is considered to be established labour and you’d be admitted to hospital. Don’t rely on your waters as a measure of when to go, my waters broke at 6cm and 10cm in the midst of active contractions. My second labour also started in my back. I would contact your equivalent of triage/maternity assessment unit
I'm close to delivering our second baby, but with the first I had 6 cm when my waters broke. I didn't even count any contractions cause I was not even able to think, however, I went straight to the hospital as soon as I felt pain.
