Learn more about our guidelines.At one month your supply is still adjusting to your little one so i would just make sure they feed as often as possible from both breasts. Your supply should adjust to baby by around 6 weeks pp just make sure you eat and drink enough and rest when you can. Pumping is generally not recommended until 6 weeks to avoid overproduction. If you need to pump however you will need to adjust to baby as they will be changing so fast at this age with not much of a routine. Maybe try pumping after feeds if you are looking to up your supply but baby may cluster feed a lot during this time which should be enough for your supply to adjust. Also for nipples the Lasinoh nipple cream is amazing x
@Rebeka what can I do for the soreness on the nipples after feeds?
@Nikki Try silver cups to reduce nipple soreness
@Sophia I have some they just didn’t come with instructions, do they go in the fridge?
@Nikki i would first make sure that baby's latch is all good to make sure you are not sore because of that. Otherwise keep them dry and clean as much as possible - i usually express a bit of milk after every feed to avoid bacteria staying of there if any. And yeah lanolin cream after feeds to heal them quicker if needed.
@Rebeka thank you
