Hi all👋🏻 Before i was pregnant i used to get regular, severe migraines with aura, sickness severe heasaches and numb hands and face. I've worked out that these were triggered by hormones and luckily since being pregnant i've only had the odd couple of mild headaches. Yesterday i had a migraine with my lips and hands going numb. The usual solution of getting some sleep seemed to help and i felt fine this morning but after closing my eyes for 10 minutes during my lunch my eyes have got an aura(patches of white noise) and my hands and lips have gone numb again. No headache this time though and didn't last very long. Just wondering if anyone has had any symptoms of preeclampsia and if it sounds similar? Or might just be hormones shifting ready for delivery in a couple of weeks. We're hoing to pop to triage to see if everything is ok if it happens again but my everything was fine at a midwife appointment yesterday.

I’d get your blood pressure checked multiple times through the day to make sure it’s not the issue. Pregnancy did weird things to my migraines, they’re still different 18 months postpartum
I had this quite a lot in pregnancy. They call them ocular migraines and I was told they were nothing to worry about! My BP was always high during them but always settled after and PET bloods were normal
