Is anyone else still struggling with their sex drive or is it just me? I feel like after having my baby in March of 2024 I could honestly never have sex again and I’d be fine. I feel so terrible for my husband. He has been so patient and understanding. But the drive is literally just gone. Once we do have sex I fully enjoy it and have zero regrets but its just such a struggle and I feel like a terrible wife for it. I thought it would be gone by now and I’d be over it and my drive would be back..

Learn more about our guidelines.I have exactly the same situation going on. My partner is also so understanding about it, which makes me feel so badly...But also grateful. You're not alone and if anyone has any tips for you, I'm here for them too 🙏🙏
It is not just you. I had my baby in March 2024 as well and mine is just gone. When I talked to my Dr months ago it was dismiss… Sadly, my marriage didn’t survive.
I’m just so tired all the time, I have a sex drive but I’m just too tired
@Mollie it is so hard. Like I just don’t understand. I don’t want touched, nothing.
I was the exact same way until very recently. It actually started almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant so it’s been over a year and a half. Pregnancy was the issue at first but then I got an iud after and I think that destroyed my sex drive. I just had it removed and within a week felt back to myself.
I feel what Emma is saying. Even when my sex drive is there I am tired and also not wanting touched, like you Natalee...Which probably comes a lot from a 14 month old climbing, grabbing and exerting lots of feels and energy all day on us.
It's nice to read we are not alone. 🧡
Yesss and because of this on days when I want to but my body just won’t let me I just tell him that all I have to give is my body on this bed 😂😂
He’s more than understanding and is totally fine with me “laying there” because like you said I do enjoy it so much I just don’t have the energy to do all the sexy shit I did before right now. I told him it would come back and don’t forget me 😂😂
I let my husband know he needed to start dating me again. Even just in home movie dates are enough. Since then we have been good.
@Rachel I got an IUD last Summer and then got it removed in October and I’m just on an oral pill now idk if birth control is having an impact or not but I absolutely hated the IUD
@Corazon I feel this 110% its really easy to lose each other once there’s a baby involved.
I had a low sex drive before my baby but after its just gone completely. I dont want touched or anything. We have sex sometimes but its like a chore and i dont care for it but also understand it can kill my marriage
@Natalee also when I was taking oral pills for birth control it did slow down my sex drive. I was also super cranky all the time. I’m not saying it’s your birth control but it could play a part. I would definitely try to reconnect in other ways first before just chalking it up to the birth control being a problem. Not that you are blaming it.
I’ve never been one into sex lol especially now after having my son nearly 2.5 years ago, I legit can live without it for the rest of my life 🤷🏼♀️🤣😭
Not just you I feel the same way 😭 tbh the only time I got the energy back was when I found out I was pregnant again in the first trimester but then we lost the baby and it’s back to zero
Same! Mine was born in March too and since then I could care less about sex. It’s more of a chore (until it’s happening too) and the thought of getting pregnant again scares me hahaha so I completely understand this.
Definitely
Had blood work done and my testosterone is very low, but Dr doesn't want to treat it yet as we are trying to conceive another.
