I love the name Summer but baby is due in October? Do you think this matters? It’s making me feel the name doesn’t work.

It's cute but her friends will always make jokes about her birthday in October but her name is summer
I don't think they need to be born in summer to be called that, also if it's sunny in sept/oct they call it an 'Indian summer' so you could just say it was that 🤣my son is called August and people ask if he was born then but he was born in January 🤷🏻♀️
I would go with the name you like regardless of that! You'll be using her name a lot more than thinking about how the month "doesn't match" I'm sure most people names May, June, August, etc aren't born those months. Speaking of which, my neighbors have a baby named Summer Mae/May which I thought is such a cute combination in case you need middle names. There are names that have to do with October if you want that sentiment for a middle name. Like Opal, Marigold, Libby, Aster, etc
I knew a girl named October. She was born in the spring.
I knew a few Summers that weren’t born in the summer! They never got made fun of for not being born in the summer. That’s a strange thing to be made fun of for and shouldn’t keep you from naming them Summer!
My name is Autumn and I was born in the summer lol I did get some jokes about it in like junior high era but it doesn’t really matter imo
I’ve just had a baby girl named Summer born last month. It was a very sunny April so I’ve had a lot of comments about the weather and her name but I never thought she needed to be born in the Summer. Just how a baby named Autumn doesn’t need to be born in the Autumn. I think it would actually put me off a bit if I was naming them after the season they were born in
I know an Autumn who was born in Spring 🤷🏻♀️
My name is Summer and I was born in the Spring. It’s made no difference to my life 🤣
I voted No, It doesn’t matter
It matters. Call her Autumn 🍂.
