Baby is exclusively breastfed without bottles. She looks at me as if I’m crazy when I try her on a bottle 🤣
Any tips?
Our first baby was such a milk monster he breastfed, had pumped milk from bottles and formula from bottles with no issues! But we didn’t leave it this long to intro a bottle last time.
I’ve got a while before I go back to work so will just carry on breast feeding for now!

After trying many different bottles we found the Mam X teats (for thick liquids helped)
Spoke to national breastfeeding helpline and infant feeding clinic too when looking for advice and they both said at 6 months going to bottle wasn’t necessary any more if baby could use a sippy cup. We still haven’t mastered sippy cup yet either though! Might be worth a try though?
Good luck… it’s not easy!
We did the transition to the bottle a few weeks ago, at first my boy would just spit it back at me 🤦🏻♀️ we had to play around with a couple of different brands but landed on the tommee tippee close to nature ones (medium flow). I had to keep introducing it, I found popping him on the boob for a couple of minutes and then sneakily rolling him off and replacing with the bottle was the only way he would initially take it, it took a week or two but now he’s on the bottle full time and we’ve had no issues. I believe the dr brown bottles are also meant to be good, I’ve not used them personally but they came highly recommended when we were transitioning. Good luck xx
