I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any sleep apps/programmes please? My 9 month old wakes every hour or two throughout the night and has been like this since he hit the 4 month sleep regression. It is exhausting. My husband and I were hoping he would just outgrow it and it would ‘fix itself’ however that has not happened and we now think we need to do something about this. I’ve briefly looked into the Pampers Smart Sleep Coach but at £29 per month, it’s not cheap. We’re happy to pay for it if it works! I’m not prepared to use any cry it out methods either. Please let me know any recommendations! Thank you!

Also how many naps per day and their duration?
He goes to bed at roughly 7:30pm after a bath/bottle/story. He has three meals a day and is breastfed (constantly throughout the night to settle) but I introduced a bottle of formula at bedtime about a month ago in case he was hungry but this hasn’t made a difference. He often falls asleep on the bottle which I know is a habit I need to break. His wake ups vary but usually around 6:30am. He has two naps a day (sometimes 3 if he’s had a particularly early morning). His first nap I usually do around 2.5 hours after he wakes up and this is around 40 minutes and I struggle to get him to sleep longer. In the afternoon, he will usually have around 90 minutes to nap but will need resettling in that time. Both naps are usually in his cot. I’m hoping you have some advice! 🤞
How long is the last wake window before going to bed? Also do you drink a lot of coffee? Or any other caffeinated beverages? I’m exclusively breastfeeding my nearly 6month old, and we have started solids a month ago but still we have nights when he wakes up very frequently. One of the things I noticed is if I drink any caffeine after 12pm we get very restless nights.
Sorry to hear this. Our 4 year old has always been the same. If I can offer any hindsight, I wish we’d known more about sleep associations and broken some habits before it was too late. We were so desperate for him to sleep that we tried everything, and he became even more reliant on us helping him back to sleep. Falling asleep on the bottle could be a big factor - he’ll be waking up after a sleep cycle and needing it to fall back asleep again. But, that’s just one experience and if anything just try to stay positive - I became obsessed and wish I’d done it differently!
I have a 9 months old. We find it if she has less then 2.5h of daytime nap, she sleeps terrible at night so we make sure she has that even if we have to contact nap. We also make sure she's awake for at least 3h before her first nap so she's tired enough to nap long enough. Obviously it doesn't always work and sometimes we have bad nights but on the whole it's working for us
My older son was a terrible sleeper but when it was approaching me returning to work, I knew I had to do something because I just wouldn’t be able to function. I bought an online course from just chill baby (she does 1:1 consultations also but obvs more expensive). When I first opened it, I was disappointed as I thought it was all common sense stuff I’d tried before but I had nothing to lose so I did it and something clicked. My sons 4 now, goes to bed independently and sleeps 10-12 hours. I told one of my friends about when she started to struggle so she bought a package (different age range) and it worked for her as well. I don’t know how it worked but I was a convert x
