Learn more about our guidelines.That is so easily understandable, and sounds very heard. Being a SAHM is a full time job and not having ur own car or freedom is very scary. I’m here if u need to talk I bet it’s very difficult. Yes in some ways being a SAHM is amazing and lucky but it’s a full time job x2. Like any job there are plenty of ups and downs positives and negatives. It definitely can be a blessing but also feel impossibly hard and isolating. Don’t be too hard on urself there is support out here for u!
@Jacey Thank you so much❤️
Agree with Jacey! I feel the same way as you do. I feel so useless doing "nothing". I want to go work and have some alone time. My bf often tells me I am "doing something", which is being my baby's mommy full time. It is a job that requires strength in all kinds of ways and needs a lot of self care or some sort of recharging after being drained. Give yourself some grace, there will be a time where you can get a job and explore whenever you want (easier said than done ofc). I do hope you get the support and village that you need that can help you experience that.
Are you able to put your little one in daycare to get a job? Even if it’s only part time, it may help you feel empowered and give you a social outlet.
@Nicole i might be able to but im just so scared because of all the horrible things i hear!
@kaitlyn does your area have a mom’s Facebook group? They can probably give your guidance on what centers they like. I know it’s scary, but I’m sure you can find some place good so you can do something for your mental health
