Hi, Im not postpartum so not sure if this is the group for it but Im 33 weeks pregnant and for the last couple of months sex hasn’t felt the same for me and I feel like I keep letting my partner down. I cant finish without a toy and Ive never been like this before. I was thinking about some sort of supplements to help increase sensitivity and drive but not actually sure what is safe or any other ways of actually helping with this? Im just not enjoying it as much and I want to.

I wouldn’t recommend taking anything cuz I know nothing about how those things affect baby but it is completely normal for sensations to change during pregnancy. This includes dryness, need for clitoral stimulation or just flat out not being able to finish at all. Your body is changing physically and chemically. If the toys are working keep using them and if he’s got a problem with it tell him he’s lucky to get it at all! A lot of women can’t or won’t have sex at that stage of pregnancy due to physical limitations, pain, or lack of drive.
Honestly, I barely wanted to have sex my last trimester. So props for still doing it. When I would it was more for him, but he’d help me out so I enjoyed it more. But your body is growing a human and changing a lot. Do what you got to do with a toy, but don’t take extra stuff. Better to be safe.
