My 10 month old daughter was sleeping in the day since last month when we used to rock and pat her.
But From last week she is not sleeping by rocking and patting even if she yawns or feels sleepy. She starts crying and screaming very loudly when we rock and pat her.
She is fighting with us to sleep even though she is sleepy.
I am very worried on how to make her sleep peacefully.
Is this normal with this age of babies or if anyone has felt the same and can help, please connect.

Learn more about our guidelines.Going through something similar my girl fights us to sleep. Seems to be similar in my NCT group too. So hopefully this is a phase
Could you try something different? My LO used to sleep with me sitting on bed with my elgs bent and swaying her , the that stopped working so had to walk up and around the room, and now holding her while standing and rocking her works best for naps.
But also there must be some regression happening as my LO was doing 1.5hr naps for the last 3 weeks and now suddenly has gone back to 45 min naps! Good luck!
@Jenna (Jen) Yeah hopefully its a phase which I really wish to end asap.š
@Sheri Yeah, will try other methods as well. Thanks Sheriš
Have you tried just putting her in her cot? My little boy went through this and I'd lay him in his cot and hed put himself to sleep
Yeah but she just sit up from her cot and keeps crying
