Mine only plays with her toy on her car seats
Totally normal. My babe didnāt get interested in toys till about 2 weeks ago. Just turned 3mo today. He also loves the tv. I constantly have to turn his swing so he canāt see the tv šš¤¦š»āāļø
Sheās still a newborn technically, give it some time š
I don't think my son played with anything at that age! Around 4 months I believe he started touching and observing the toys on the arch of his play gym when he laid on his play mat
Sheās 2 months old. Give her time, itās mainly when they start to crawl and can move around they start becoming interested in toys.
Very normal!
My sweet almost 3mo is the same my grandma started poppin on cartoons when she watches her since miss maam loves motion and colors. She has to watch YouTube with me and everything. We donāt even have toys for her yet. Debating it since she discovered her hands but letting her let us know :)
I think my son was not doing much at 2m. Canāt remember. But I do remember feeling like not knowing what to do with him ššš thereās an app for developmental growth itās called wonder years I believe, it helped me understand the phases more!
Babies are stimulated by the world around them even if we think they might be bored itās okay :) theyāll like toys eventually and as long as theyāre content not crying theyāre stimulating themselves by just intaking all the sights, sounds, touch and smells of their environment! I def wouldnāt intentionally give screen time at this age cuz you donāt want to ruin their attention spans and make them require all that hyper stimulation to just be entertained, it will eventually come back to bite you in the butt lol
Girl this is me too with my 3 month old daughter š
Thatās how my two month old little boy is lol, he loves sensory bear, and Miss Rachel, but wonāt play with anything
@Jessica haha I felt the same I was feeling so bad he was looking at me with his big eyes and I didn't even know what to do with him he was just laying there
screens are a bit overstimulating for their eyes since theyāre not fully developed getting a black-and-white high contrast baby book is good for tummy time. Itās less overstimulating for their eyes but right now at two months you should just be reading books to them singing and talking to them.
my baby girl keeps looking at the movies that I put on as well. 𤣠just make sure to be talking to them and getting to know them honestly.
My 3 month old is only just figuring out toys exist. So totally normal.
My baby was only interested in her foil blanket until 4 months old
My girl didnāt even like any toys until almost 7 months old. now at 9 months old, sheās very interested in everything for a long time and gets entertained very easily
Also my anything that dangles she is obsessed with
Hello!! I have a 3 month old! My baby loves her cow rattle and Franklin the turtle!
Sheās very young and not capable of seeing very far. She shouldnāt be looking at screens, itās bad for brain development and too much.
The world is their toy at that age, and I HIGHLY discourage any screen use at that age.
@Jess i used to think they cant see very far but i was proved wrong i stood in the doorway about 10 feet away from her cot i smiled and waved and she smiled back i did it a few more times later that week every time to be sure it wasnt just random and she did the same thing
