Help this sleepless mumma out!! My babe is waking up basically every hour maybe 2 sometimes. Currently Co sleeping so that I don’t have to get up. Putting her on the boob settles her back down but I’m so exhausted I want to break this habit. She is over 6 months so the feeding is comfort not actually hungry I don’t think.
Any suggestions? Anyone been through this phase and come out the other side 😂

Learn more about our guidelines.Baby is formula fed and we are in our 3/4th week of constant night wake ups (she just needs resettling and not feeding) then up at 5am onwards ready to start the day. It’s killing me!!
i have been having the exact same so im trialling 2 naps today as i feel like ive tried everything else 🥲
Same. I’ve mostly accepted my lot since she’s always been a terrible sleeper, but I’m practicing putting her back to sleep without the boob. I’ve been trying just patting but she seems to mostly get annoyed and push my hand away 😂 Most often just putting my arm around her, the contact and warmth sometimes works, or occasionally sitting up and holding or rocking.
I think a couple of times she does actually need a feed, but the rest, depending on how tired I am and how much she screams and clearly just wants the boob, there’s been some success here and there. Yesterday was pretty bad though, she clearly just needed the boob.
There’s also teething and the 6 month sleep regression to contend with, but my only suggestion is practice putting her to sleep without feeding as much as possible.
@Megan 2 naps a day could help. My girl has 2 naps a day. 30 minute in the afternoon and 1 hour early evening and she sleeps 8:30-9am x
