Just wondering if anyone else has had their sickness return later on in pregnancy? I was so ill up until about 14 weeks when it stopped, I’m now coming on for 23 weeks and haven’t been able to keep anything down the last 4 days 🤢 I have just got back from being on holiday so aware (and really hoping) I’ve just picked up a bug but feeling less likely it’s that the longer it goes on 😢

Recently had an engagement party with all our friends and family present.
I invited a whole bunch of friends/colleagues from my old job whom I’m very much still involved with and invited along on nights outs etc. despite not working there any longer.
There were a fair handful who turned up at intervals throughout the night, didn’t come to acknowledge myself or partner, didn’t congratulate us or even say hello when they entered the party, and went straight to sit with the group of work guys.
I didn’t feel it was up to me to greet every person that arrived, it was a pretty informal event anyway, and I was talking to and entertaining numerous groups of people. Anyone else who arrived would approach me themselves when they came through the door and offer a card or gift, which was really sweet.
As for some of the work people who didn’t even give me acknowledgement at my own engagement party, a couple only greeted me and then said hello/congrats whilst on there way to the buffet as I was stood in the path of the food. Otherwise I don’t even think they would have!
And then upon leaving (I caught a few out of the corner of my eye get up and grab coats etc. to leave) didn’t even think to take the time to even say goodbye! And just walked out after not a hello, goodbye or congratulations all night!!
I spoke to my fiancé the next day and said how upset I was as these were people I always thought of myself as really close to, worked with for years, and deemed important enough to me to invite to our engagement party.
He said not to fret about it too much, they clearly aren’t what I thought they were and we know to certainly not invite them to the wedding.
But I’m reallyyyyy pissed off about it to the point I don’t even want to talk to them ever again.

I know on the day I might not care but what is everyone packing in their hospital bag to give birth in/at least get through the first stage of labour in? I’m thinking nightie or PJs? Heard it helps get the oxytocin flowing if you are wearing your own clothes instead of a hospital gown

I had my second baby by caesarean. After the operation my baby was whisked away. Put on my cheek for all of two minutes then taken away again. To be settled by one of the nurses.
I didn’t see my baby again until they were returning me to the labour ward.
I wasn’t expecting a c section birth. And everything happened so fast, I didn’t really process anything. I still don’t think I have to be honest.
I do not feel connected to my baby at all. I’m not even moved when baby cries. Sometimes I look at my baby and think baby isn’t mine. I screamed and told baby I hate them.
I didn’t feel like this with my first. Who is now a toddler.
My question is does anyone else feel this way? And is it understandable after having a c section?
I tried to explain it to the perinatal team but they told me my feelings are normal. And to remain under community mental health and the health visitor.
I feel so lost. As I really thought they would help. CMH team and HV both do not do much.
I know it’s bad but I’m beginning to resent my baby. I know it’s bad. I don’t want any judgement. Just helpful advice if possible.
