Hey mamas,
So my girl has started rolling in her crib at night. We were using an arms up love to dream swaddle, but obviously we shouldn’t anymore. Any tips or tricks to help baby get to sleep? I bought a sleep sack but she struggles with waking up whenever her hands touch her face.

we stopped using the love to dream swaddle at 2.5months and started their transitional sleep slack/ swaddle then we stopped using it at 3.5-4months so she just sleeps without one now since shes in daycare and some daycares dont do swaddles after certain months old

We were having a similar issue when we first switched as well. We started using the Sleeping Baby Zipadee Zip and it helped so much! It fully covers her hands but she can still roll and move around. My only dislike about it is the zipper bulges a bit.. although she likes it lol and will chew on it sometimes

We tried everything and nothing worked for us. it kicked off the sleep regression and has been nightmare sleep since 😵💫😭 I went back to the original halo swaddle and do one arm in and one arm out. It’s the only way he would sleep even a little bit. He naps with both arms out but hasn’t made it to bed time with both out yet until last night. We’ll see how it goes.

We put our daughter in a long sleeve onesie with socks over her hands that stay on by gripping the sleeves and then a sleep sack. She loves to scratch in her sleep and not her scratching doesn't hurt her so she doesn't wake up 👏

Swaddle me up has a great sleep sack that has little gloves on the end you can open up.

Playing games with baby that he’ll them work through their Moro reflex can make transitioning easier. If baby is rolling, you can also sleep them on their tummy which can be a game changer for sleep.

This is temporary. Most babies adjust in a few nights or a week. And when they do their hands actually become a good tool for self soothing (rubbing face, sucking their thumb etc.) Id look into some transitional sleep sacks. Someone mentioned the zipadee-zip 👍🏼 also look at sleep sacks with a bit of snug like halo or burts bees sleep sack.
