My baby boy is just over 4 months old and the sleep regression has started. Does anyone have a tips on how I can get past this stage, he is up every 30 mins - 1hr 30mins. It isn’t always for a feed but most of the time I think he just wants comfort. I am really struggling, I am so exhausted and don’t know what to do.
Also his feeding during the day is still every 1hr 30 mins - 2 hrs, he is EBF and I thought he would be going longer by now and when he feeds it is for no longer than 10 mins sometimes even less.
So if anyone has any advice, suggestions or tips that could help that would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I know it's really hard stage iam going through this with my 5 month baby girl. What helps me is just knowing that it's not gonna last long and it will get better it's just one of they're development stage and she is struggling not just me. What I do as well her day naps are still pretty good, so when she's awake in morning I try to do house work, eat something and go to sleep with her for her first nap it does help, and obviously loads of coffee. Hang on it will get better! ❤️

Hey, my sons EBF too and I was feeding to sleep so I kept waking up hourly at night to feed him back to sleep. What id do differently with my next baby though that might make the regression a bit better is unlatch when he’s drowsy, tap or cuddle him to sleep that way when he wakes up between cycles he doesn’t need to be fed back to sleep. You might find tapping/cuddling him to sleep easier. It’s just How sleep associations work at this stage, they wake up wanting to be put back to sleep the same way they did previously! You’ll get through it, all the best x

There's absolutely nothing that can be done, except rid it out, their sleep pattern could possibly change a lot up to 6 months and/or more.
Just go with their natural sleep cycles, rest when you can, I tried to fight this one a little by trying to encourage a different routine than what she had naturally developed, and it only made things worse, I know better too as she is my 4th.
It just made things so much more stressful.
Now I try to rest or sleep when she does (like i used to) and go with the flow.
Since then she has also started doing a lot more things she wasn't before

i tried every trick in the book nothing helped just had to wait it out. lasted around 8 weeks , before it my LO was doing long stretches of 6 hours & 1 night feed, after never slept the same constant wakes and wouldnt allow anything less than 2 night feeds. hes 8 months now and only just dropped the second feed! i really feel for you its awful but it will end. just focus on self soothing when theyre the other side of it as my one struggled with this and had he have been able to, it would have made the world of difference. biggest regret was using a dummy as he spits it out constantly and cries for it back hes not long learnt to put it back in himself and go back to sleep and the nights are so much easier than they were.
I don’t feel like I’m a good mum, I cannot stand my child clinging onto me/screaming I literally want to smack my head against a wall every time she makes that screeching noise I am seriously exhausted and I have no help whatsoever.

I am only 12 weeks but I fell like ive lost my patience with my 15 month old, all day long im just constantly telling her off for hitting the tv, climbing on the back of the sofa to get to the window, throwing things at the cat and laughing. Im not enjoying being with her and that sounds horrible 😢
Im not enjoying my pregnancy in the first place and feeling exhausted everyday aswel cause my daughter is sleeping in our bed every night as she cries the moment i get near her cot 😢
Im just feeling lost

I just found out some bad news yesterday. My babygirl of 14 years has cancer. They found three large masses inside her. I am so devastated. I know i have to put her down but she is still acting like herself. Jumping on and off the bed/counter, eating and drinking.
I just dont know what to do or when to do it. How do I know when its time? She doesn't seem to be in any pain or anything. Vet said that chemo would be hard on her since she's lost weight and is fragile and her age.
I guess I'm making this post for any and all advice on when to know its time to put her down..

My daughter is having the worst meltdowns recently. I’m talking to the point where people are starting to stop outside my house and looking in with concern. The anxiety and humiliation leaving the house sometimes is exhausting. Kicking and screaming at the top of her voice in public and having everyone in the street looking at me, is a different kind of embarrassment and guilt. I’ve had a few conversations recently with various people about seeing someone professional about mt daughter’s behaviour. She’s also started using noises and moans to gesture what she wants, coming from an incredibly smart 3 year old who has been speaking full sentences since she was two. We have regressed in verbal communication, and the meltdowns are getting so horrifically bad. She also tugs at her clothes when distressed or pulls on her fingers. There is absolutely ZERO reasoning with her when she is like this, it’s just constant screaming. I’m a first time mum and just at a complete loss.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a bit of advice/reassurance from anyone who’s experienced something similar.
My baby girl is 8 days old and I’m currently combination feeding, breastfeeding, expressed milk and formula. I’ve really been trying to establish breastfeeding over the last couple of days, but it’s been a struggle since she was born.
She hasn’t had a poo for about a day and a half, and I’m wondering whether this could mean she isn’t getting enough milk directly from me. I’ve been giving expressed milk and formula this afternoon so I can keep an eye on exactly how much she’s taking.
She seems otherwise completely well — her temperature is fine, she’s feeding every few hours, sleeping well between wake windows, isn’t showing any obvious discomfort and her tummy isn’t hard.
I’ve already spoken to the midwife about it a couple of days ago and I’ll be speaking to them again tomorrow morning, but I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s experienced something similar, especially with it being overnight. ❤️
