Do you think it’s weird when people refer to their partners as their baby daddy?

My interpretation of baby daddy is someone you’ve had a child with but are no longer together, almost a slightly disrespectful term. If I was saying it about my partner it would be in jest, not what I’d refer to him as to other people. Seems more common in the US than the UK.

I agree I feel like most people use it as a term for someone they aren’t with anymore but had a kid with. On occasion people use it for someone they’re with but they must like the sound of it or being funny. Like calling a long term bf hubby before you’re married kinda

Agreed, my partner wasn't my baby daddy before we were married and definitely isn't now that we are 😂

I never cared to use the term seriously, but I tease my husband with it sometimes lol🤷🏻‍♀️
