Questions on endrometrois

Any ladies here had child(ren) and then diagnosed with endrometrois? I have an 8month old and i am devastated that i may not be able to have anymore babies. :( seems like sex isnt fun or even enjoyable. Its been 2 months ago since me or my s/o other had any sex.

I had laparoscopic surgery 2 months ago, stage 2. My doctor said the surgery increases fertility by 50%. I don’t have any children so I don’t know what the starting point was to be increased by 😊 I was freaked out before the surgery but the recovery was very quick and I feel much better since - less period pain.

Hi, I have 2 children 15yrs &11years. I was told at 18 years old that my endometriosis was so severe that it would be unlikely I would ever conceive. I had an operation to remove the endo about 9years ago. We've been trying to conceive for over 16 months now but recently had 2 misscarrages July 2018 and April 2019 and a very recent failed ivf cycle October 2019. Fingers crossed it's not too late for us at 41 I feel like time has run out. Don't lose hope having endometriosis can be so difficult to manage but I do not believe it stops you from conceiving. Xxx

My niece has/had it and she had her first son 10 years ago and when she met her husband 4 years ago they tried knowing she may not be able to have anymore. Her 2nd boy just turned 4. Try not to focus on the diagnosis you never know what your situation will be and when the doctors could be wrong.
