For lunch, we shared a Pesto Tortellini Lean Cuisine, and I also gave her Wheat Thins (she’s a picky eater but she’ll eat them at every meal), Fruit Melts, and a toddler Plum Organic purée with fruits and vegetables. For breakfast, she usually gets berries (or a fruit cup if I’m out of berries), dried fruit and a pouch of Stonyfield organic yogurt from Walmart plus toast, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon or we more likely share an Amy’s organic meal which has a lot of vegetables. Tonight for dinner, I made her grilled cheese and Progresso Chicken Noodle soup, she didn’t eat much so she got some Wheat Thins and a pouch of organic Happy Tot beet, blueberry and pear purée. Then after dinner, she gets the two bite cupcake she talks about all day. After her first taste of a cupcake months ago, she was constantly saying “cat pee” and it took me weeks to figure out she was asking for a cupcake! 🧁 She also gets 14 ounces of breastmilk a day and however much whole milk she asks for in addition.
Pasta noodles with pureed broccoli, peas and carrots as sauce with grated cheese on top
Homemade potato, cheese, carrot and zucchini fritter, a fish finger, and a whole bunch of blueberries and strawberries!
My little guy is 2YO. He likes to eat cereal, pancakes or bagels for breakfast. Snack time - sliced apples or cheese and crackers. Lunch/ dinner typically same thing - rice, chicken & veggies are a popular combo but he also LOVES shrimp!

The real question is how do you mamas get your kids to eat protein. I am pretty sure it is a art form. My kiddos are like on a all carb diet.

Is your little a vegetarian or vegan? I'd like to feed my LO a vegetarian diet, any recommendations for protein?
My little dude took a PB&J, a banana, and a handful of crackers to his grandmas house today. That’s his all time favorite lunch. I cannot get him to eat vegetables😩 We bought some apple and spinach protein bars and he loved those, but he will not eat veggies any other way! He will eat bits of meat, but he is mostly a fruitarian

I cut it up into strips for him and he picks it up in his fists! He loves it!
Aww. Does he eat the sandwich without taking it apart! LOL That’s our struggle right now.
I follow bentos and bows on insta and kids eat in colour on FB for ideas. My son is having tomato and cucumber salad, mango slices, mixed fruit and veggie pouches, yoghurt and chicken breast mixed with Annie's white Cheddar pasta.

I just like to offer him variety. It's about options and also exposure for me. Some days he eats most of it some days most of it comes home 🤷♀️
Oh my goodness! Serious goals. My son just turned a year and wouldn’t eat but a fraction of that! That’s awesome.
Lol we had a busy morning so we threw together Mac and cheese and popcorn chicken 😂
