Has anyone else felt nervous about being a first time mom?

This is my first healthy pregnancy (thank God) and I’m 22w 2d and I’m so nervous that it kinda makes me sick . Like I question myself if I can do it and if it is going to be ok . I’m so scared sometimes is this normal? Is it going to go away? I have no idea what I’m feeling like this for.

Yes. Scared shitless. I think everyone must feel this way!

Totally Normal! I think those feelings get less intense as the days go by with baby - but with a one year old I still have them from time to time. But then again, at 31 I still don't feel like I'm much of an adult either 😂 Just give yourself some time to adjust - as new as you'll be to motherhood your baby will be just as new here - you'll both learn as you go! Congrats Mama!

Thank you so much!☺️ needed this !

I feel the same way this is my first healthy pregnancy too. I’m almost 15 weeks and I’m so surprised and shocked that this is actually happening. I can only wait till I’m closer to my due date. I’m scared but nervous mostly, I just want to be a great parent to my baby girl.

It’s the best feeling in the world! And congrats !☺️

Thank you!!

This is normal when baby comes your know what to do!

This is my first time being a mom too. I have a son named Leo and his 2months now. It is nervous and scary but nature at the same time. Don’t beat yourself up on it. Your a first time mom, everything is new. And when it comes to family, you gotta put your foot down. It’s your life, your baby.

Awe thank you! And congrats!

Completely normal and happens with every pregnancy! What helped me is i stopped reading things online, reading only made me worry more!

First time momma here! Baby boy is due in September and I’m terrified! It’s okay to be nervous, but once your baby comes, you’ll know what to do and even if you don’t, you’ll figure it out!

Thank you ! And congratulations to you! ☺️

Omg girl all the time! I’ve learned through other parents there’s no right way to be a parent. Love and respect is the biggest things you can teach your child!

I’m scared to death still. I’m always worried about doing something wrong.

I am nervous about being a mom. Mostly im nervous about the rest of the pregnancy and labor. But idk how to prepare for being a mom lol.

Same here

I was extremely nervous and anxious up until I actually met my little one. Don’t worry, what you’re feeling happens to lots of ladies.

Totally normal! I had my first baby 3 months ago and I was soooo nervous. I didn't have any experience with babies. I was freaking out. Even when I gave birth and they gave her to me I was so scared because I didn't want to hold her wrong. But you get the hang of it quickly. We are meant to have babies so taking care of them and knowing what to do is in our nature!

I’m nervous now that I see that time is counting down and they are really coming. I don’t know if there is anything that can prepare me enough. I just know they will be my pride and joy 💕

Awe that’s so sweet! Congrats to you!☺️

Nervous is normal... after a while we will be pros 😎

Everyday since I saw the second line on the home pregnancy test. I get told it’s normal. I’m scared to death I’m not going to be a good mom, that I will let my little one down. I know I can only do the best I can do but I’m scared. I don’t think 8 months is enough time to prepare myself for bringing home baby.

Trust me, I always used to feel like that! Especially towards the end of my pregnancy I got so anxious and so nervous to give birth I would constantly tell my husband that I’m scared😭 I would even cry sometimes because I was that nervous! Even when I started having minor contractions I was scared to go to the hospital that I waited at home as long as I can to spend less time at the hospital as possible😣 but once my baby came out, I felt so at peace and was just happy as can be to finally have the baby in my arms💙 I’m a first time mom, my baby is 3 months now and there’s nothing to worry about! If I can do it, you can do it too😊 you got this!!

Supes nervous

I was nervous too! As soon as that baby comes, you will just be so in love and love being a mom :) it’s the best. It’s ok to be nervous! But you’ll be fine!!!

I’m absolutely terrified! Haha😓

It’s normal to be scared! Just remember you’ve got people to help you out along the way as well so don’t be afraid to ask them for help.

Oh yes !! It’s a very common feeling I’m still nervous being a first time mom and my daughter is 9 1/2 months old

I’m still nervous and I have a 4 month old. Amazed Ive kept him alive this long.

Oh god yes I’m a first time mom-to-be, I’m 23 weeks pregnant on this coming Sunday with my little boy, I worry all the time.
