Photo album ideas? 📸

Hey mamas! I'm struggling to find a good way to save photos of my daughter. She's almost 2 and I have not been saving any photos or making any photo albums! Don't get me wrong, my phone has approximately 15k photos of her... but now what?! My mom made 20 HUGE 300 page albums of me back in the 80's... and now they just sit up in our guest room closet.. Shutterfly takes FOREVER!!!! I don't have that time to load every single picture that I want to use and then strategically place them chronologically in a book that will most likely cost $500 bc I've added a million extra pages to it... (I'm so dramatic) but HELP!!!!

Omg! I am the same way except I have about 8 more years on you. I have thousands of photos but I can't even imagine printing all of them out. There was for to be a way We can keep these memories of our child I just don't know how. Ugh!

Are you looking to make digital or physical albums?

I don't really know?!?!?

Do a page or spread for each month in an annual album. That way you can get the highlights and not break the bank. That's what I'll be doing, at least. My phone's default gallery has a favorite feature, so I can use that to organize photos as I go (or more like backtrack to the last time I organized them lol). You can also tag photos or create unique galleries for whatever.

Everyone’s suggestions here are great! I would just add to get a digital photo frame! That way all you lovely photos will be displayed in your house all the time! Takes less time than a Shutterfly book but family and friends would be able to enjoy it more - as well as you!!

👍🏼

That reminds me-I need to order one! Thanks, momma!

I use Shutterfly a lot to make photo books. They have good sales.

Same here! I need to print more and make books. I guess we are not alone. For 2 years there’s was just one photo of my husband and our little when she was an infant. One framed photo in the whole house, now we have 5🤪

I use free prints. You pay shipping and get 85 prints delivered in less than 2 weeks. They upload super quick as opposed to shutterfly. Wal mart has photo albums that are like 200 pictures a piece for around $5 so that won't break the bank either.

This! Also, you could print at Walmart. If you go in, you just plug in your phone and select all the photos on it that you want printed. But, those cost. I’ve never heard of free prints, sounds neat!

I have all of my daughter's photos printed with this app I have I can send you the referral link if you message me. But I still don't feel comfortable deleting pics so I got Amazon Prime because we get diapers from them anyways and they have unlimited photo storage so that definitely helps clear my phone out. Also if you get the Amazon photos at when you get the prime you can create albums or you can create profiles so if it recognizes that one picture has my daughter in it it'll send it to her little profile or if it has a picture recognizes my husband's in it'll send it to his profile

My daughter is 7 months old and I already have 4 photo albums filled up. I love printed pictures- my nana was a photographer so I have tons of photo albums and pictures of me as a baby!

I use the Mitene app. It puts everything in chronological order for you and at the end of each month it makes a flipbook that you can order from the app. You can also share the app with family and friends to see the pictures or add their own pictures. It's awesome for my family because I'm active duty and this is a way for my family to get to watch my daughter grow up.

Awesome! Thanks...! I will definitely download tonight!

Make an email address for her and email them in weekly or monthly sets (not all but the good ones).

I make books of my son each year from shutterfly usually i get a free code and only pay shipping of like $7

Might be a late comment but there is an app called chatbooks that creates books for you for like $10
