On my 2nd journey...transfer in 2 weeks :-)
I am a signed to be a surrogate and in the process with an agency called Carrying Hope Surrogacy - it’s been a wonderful journey so far! Almost to my embryo transfer !!!
I’m a 3x surrogate and also work for an agency! I’ve been in the industry since 2009. More than happy to answer any questions!

Hi Amanda, My pregnancy was a breeze and I’m highly considering becoming a surrogate. How long did you wait between each surrogate? How soon after giving birth can you become a surrogate?
I am a 2x surrogate (one singleton and one set of twins) and i plan to do one more journey. Feel free to message me if you have questions about surrogacy and I'd be happy to tell you the name of my surrogacy company which was amazing and supportive throughout the process
If there are any GCs willing to chat and get to know one another we are looking to transfer one embryo so thankful to women who are willing to do this for families! I have two boys but via IVf but have had two major hemorrhages that required blood transfusions and embolizations. So I’ve been advised not to carry
I was a surrogate through Surrogacy Source.
I am currently a surrogate, I’m almost 6 weeks pregnant. The intended father is absolutely amazing. Anyone interested, I work with Same Love surrogacy out of San Diego and it has been such a wonderful process so far. I’m so glad I get to do this for him.

Hi Danielle, yes we signed with WWS about a month ago.
I’ll see ya in the Facebook group 😁
I have been a surrogate before and will be doing it again soon for the same couple.
Anyone willing to carry for me for not so much

I might not even need this I ovulated yesterday so we shall see .
I hope you find your match but I will say even if your able to find someone to carry for little or no compensation there are still a lot of fees. There is cost for contracts, lawyers, doctors and more .

@Abi @×AmyLEE× Hey ladies! Just found this thread. If you are still interested in serving as a surrogate, I work with an amazing agency in FL. They started the company bc of their own infertility journies and needing surrogates. Let me know if you have any questions about the process, I’d be happy to help ☺️
I’ve had trouble getting pregnant with a second child and are considering a surrogate among other options
How do I get a surrogate please? Any links or advice will be appreciated. I live in Abu Dhabi and it’s not allowed here.
I’ve been on peanut for a while as we have been trying to have a baby for two years and I’m almost 36. I just found the thread. We are at the very beginning of our surrogacy journey, we have consultations with three different places in the next week. All of you wonderful ladies have made me feel so much more comfortable and excited about looking into using a surrogate. Thank you thank you! I wish I could have one of you ladies carry my future baby (I’m sure it doesn’t work that way but it would be nice!)😊

Also can any past or present surrogates give some info on the length of the process?
The length of the process is different for everyone and depends on a lot of things. Do you have embryos ready or will you need to us a donor (egg or sperm), are you using an agency or going independently? And there are more . You can pm me if you would like. With my first journey as a surrogate we were independent and it took over 2 years before we even transferred but then there are some who it only took 6 months. With my 2nd couple we were with an agency and it took 5 months from the time we were matched to transfer. Good luck on your journey.
I was a surrogate and delivered in September 2019. I used an agency in GA. There are a lot of great agency’s in CA but you do not have to use one close to you. Also know your laws in your state or country for surrogate. Some states it is banned or you can’t be compensated where others are very surrogacy friendly. Being a surrogate was one of the greatest things I’ve done aside from having my own children.

What was the one you used in GA
I am currently in the process of becoming a surrogate. The intended parent is in Spain and I am located in Idaho. It is such a cool process and I can’t wait to give a loving family a baby.
Any woman who even considers being a surrogate is amazing!! My sister was mine, we had a great experience and our bond is even stronger than before! We are desperate to give our son a sibling to play with so will look to find a surrogate in the US as unfortunately we havent had any luck in the UK.

I’m a surrogate in California (currently 18 weeks). I went through an agency, Global Surrogacy Inc., they primarily deal with international families. Having a surrogate in California is very common because we have the most laws on the subject and it’s very black and white legally.
I’m dying to be a surrogate!

Are you signed up with an agency?
I’m not! I am researching agency’s.
I would love some information on this from the opposite side. I have had 2 miscarriages and lost my son 24 hours after birth, this made pregnancy a very scary experience for us. After all this, we tried again and are now blessed with 2 beautiful, healthy little boys. We would love another. Unfortunately, I have been told it would be too dangerous to carry again 😞, so maybe consider a surrogate? X

Happy to talk to you about this. Although I think you will find it very hard to find a surrogate because u already have kids already x
You poor thing. Happy to answer any questions if I can help with the prospect of being intended parents!
I've been a surrogate twice x
How does surrogates to become one work in the U.K.? How do you sign up to a agency etc.. etc... xx

If your a surrogate does the couple have to be from the U.K.? X
You guys should watch the nest on BBC iplayer. It's a surrogacy story line
Following!
Just found this thread. Having had one wonderful boy I think I’m done with children. However I would love to give birth again. Maybe surrogacy is the route? My sons godfather is gay so I would happily do it for him. What’s the process in the UK I always saw it as an American procedure for some strange reason.
If you think you can you should! I always wanted to be a surrogate until I had my own pregnancies and decided I couldn't do it.

One of the most selfless thing you could ever do in your life. I wanted to do it but they said I cant be taking anti depressants so...
Hey Katy! I was actually a Surrogate for some friends of ours almost 2 years ago. The process was fairly easy. Lots of tests and blood work that you have to have completed weekly or monthly depending on what stage you are at. I had a really easy couple and they weren't to much involved with my daily life. They just had faith that as was making good choices due to nutrition and exercise. I have had friends that have had very strict and super involved couples that go as far as planning out every single meal for the surrogate. At the end of the day, no matter what you go through in my opinion, giving a child to someone that can't carry one and letting them experience that journey is 100% worth it in the end. Feel free to message me if you have any additional questions.
We had our son through surrogacy which was an amazing experience! Looking to have our next but it's near on impossible to friend a surrogate who wants to help couples who have a child already, as there are many childless couples. What amazing women surrogates are! If I could carry babies I would definitely want to help somebody else!
Never experienced this personally, but one of my good friends was trying to be a surrogate. There were 3 embryos and the first didn’t take, so she had to start the entire process all over again. Same happened with the second, then the third and she took it really hard. I suggest making sure your mental state is in a place that it could handle that or other complications, it’s a lengthy process to actually get pregnant, but if you can do it, then do it! She had a really easy time with pregnancy with her own child so she assumed it would be the same with surrogacy, but she really wasn’t in the best place emotionally to take all of that on.
So grateful to all the women that become GC’s. I’m so excited/nervous for the journey to begin with my surrogate. Our transfer is on Tuesday and hoping we get a positive result!

I’m a surrogate, currently 9 weeks pregnant!

How did you get into it?
I wish I could do this but I can't I lost my uterus when I had my last child. I looked into being a egg donor & truly really tried but was told I was to fat & stupid. That I didnt qualify because my BMI was to high & I didn't have a degree in anything
I am a surrogate for a same sex couple from France my guys are amazing and I can’t wait for their baby to be born I am currently 11 weeks as of today!

Do you mind me asking how did the whole process go.
It’s kinda of a long process lots of questions and test it’s all worth it. I know it’s different everywhere and all depends on if your using a company or you doing it privately. I’m using a company CFC (Canadian fertility consulting) the people there are all just so amazing and answer every question you could have even before signing up.
This is amazing!!! I have not thought about it but we’ve recently had 2 terrible pregnancy and with my last found out that we will probably only be able to have 1 more resulting in a hysterectomy. My husband and I have been discussing the option of surrogacy or adoption or both to be able to continue growing our family

This is random but I recently heard of womb transplants ... just heard about it in passing but women who have had kids and are done but still have viable wombs donate them to moms who have trouble conceiving. I don’t know anymore about it then that but yeah 🤷♀️
I heard about it. But it’s considered an elective transplant and I don’t think I’d accept all the health risks and then anti rejection medications for life just to have another baby
We had our son via surrogate after years of failed IVF. It is an incredible thing to give another family. I will go to my grave thankful for the woman who gave us the gift of our son. This website is really helpful for both surrogates and intended parents. https://surrogate.com/surrogates/becoming-a-surrogate/how-can-i-become-a-surrogate-mother/ Finding a great agency is a tricky task bc it’s a personal fit kind of thing. The website Men Having Babies has a list of agencies with reviews. It’s a great resource. Good luck and thank you for even considering doing this for another family like ours. If you ever want to talk with an intended parent (whose not looking for a surrogate so zero pressure there!!) please let me know. Good luck!!
I would love to do surrogacy here in Australia but I cannot for the life of me figure out the right avenues!
How much do people make being a surrogate?
In the U.K. nothing! Here we'd only get paid expenses. I believe other countries pay quite a lot though
The agency I’m working with a first time surrogates compensation is around $40,000
I have always wanted to be a surrogate. Personally I want to be done having my own babies before I have anyone else’s just in case something were to happen. But I love every moment of being pregnant and would love to be able to give someone the chance at having a family.
I planned too. But so many stories of healthy women not making it out alive. I could never risk leaving my kids without me

I had my son through a surromom, who is now his godmother. It is such an amazing honorable thing, but I would never push you one way or another. The agency I used was Omega Family Global. Sending love.
I was thinking about this too! I would love to know what you find! I feel it’s so special to be able to give a family something I was easily able to do

I just signed a contract with primeSurro ! Really excited about it
I was a surro and my surro boy is turning 1 next week! And then we are starting a sibling journey next year. It's a scary thing cuz stuff happens. One surro just died last couple of weeks or so and unfortunately it's a lot more common that most people think. Just do a lot of research and make sure your family is done. As for agencies I did it independently to save my ips money so I cant answer that

Yes ! I was all signed up to do it, but then started looking at all the women who have passed because things unexpectedly happened . I was all for it, but i just cant risk my 3 young kids living without me
This is amazing and so selfless! I wish me and my husband could afford a surrogate so we could have more kids. You guys are such blessings to families who want children 🥰
Hi Sok! If you had a vaginal birth, it’s 6 months. C-section they like you to wait a year. You also need to not be breastfeeding so your cycle can be regulated. Often times it can take a few months to get paperwork done and match you with an intended parent so I’d recommend completing an application. The agency I work with in FL is in desperate needs of surrogates. We have a wait list of parents we are trying to match.
