Instead of cards or a wishing well I had people bring a favorite childhood book of theirs, and write a little not or sign their name on the inside cover of the book....amazing because I left with at least 100 books, It filled a bookshelf and she’s 4 now and we still have all kinds of books she can choose from
Spend less money on decorations and that money instead on things that you will still need. People will buy things off your registry. I was lucky and received almost all the things I needed except $500(including a pack and play and extra carseat base). I wish I did.

It’s already been said, but the diaper raffle is a must! So thankful for diapers. Doing the theme in the nursery motif is nice cause then a lot goes straight into the nursery for decor!
My mother in law made me a diaper cake it was so cute!! She also bought socks, onesies and hats and hung them on ribbon like a banner/clothesline it was super cute
