Build a Bear Idea

I thought if this idea to make Cas first teddy bear from build a bear but with those little recorder things: one in each paw (one of mommy’s voice saying I love you and one of daddy saying I love you) and one of a song for Cas to listen to and soothe him. I thought this would be a great idea to share with other moms so when their baby gets older they’ll always have a piece of their parents and God forbid something we’re to happen to a parent they will always hear their voice say I love you. Idk if anyone wants to do this but it was cute and fun and only cost about $40 and will last a lifetime. Thought I’d share for the idea.

I heard if that but I can’t get the heartbeat I wanted to try but the only way I could get the heartbeat was to whip out my phone and record but idk how to get it off the phone all cleaned up to the bear. I def wana try this tho

Cute idea! When my oldest was 2 and we were getting rid of the pacifier I took her to build-a-bear and she got to put a pacifier inside one so she would still have, but couldn’t “use” anymore. Worked wonderfully, she still has it but rarely sleeps with it now, but She does love her stuffed animals 🤣

Anytime I’m a super creative artsy person so it just hit me one day plus I get a lot of cool ideas on Pinterest too if I see any I’ll send em your way

I told my husband I wanna make our baby a bear like this but I planned on only his voice if he stayed in the military for when he goes on deployments.

I heard of this and heard it’s really heart touching and is great for the kids. Awesome idea that’s super thoughtful of you.

My son owns about 4-5 Build-A-Bears He loves Build-A-Bear.

Who doesn’t? It’s hard not to love the coolest place on earth lol. I’m a full grown kid myself🤣

Great idea!

I actually used a build a bear for my second gender reveal. I had my sister dress up the bear in either a boy onesie or a girl onesie and we opened the box and found out! I thought it was a unique idea

That’s actually a really great idea super cute, gift for baby, great way to announce. I love it

This is brilliant!!

I absolutely love this idea! I’m expecting my first in about two weeks and will definitely be doing this!

Also build a bear will let you buy the recording button thing and put it in yourself later if their dad works 6 days a week or nights or military or anything like that, I did that with my husband for my daughter:)

They also do birthday parties my sister did her daughter's 5th bday

I didn’t know that that’s super cool thank you that’s good to know

I love, love, love this idea!!

I had someone give me this for my twins' baby shower, but I recorded their heartbeat at an ultrasound. So now they can hear what their 💗 sounded like in my belly.

Love this! You just gave me the perfect 1st birthday gift!!

I’m glad I could help😊

Join the build a bear club and you get the birthday bear for the cost of the child’s age (pay the age of the child for the bear)The store clerk gave me that tip! I am going to build a bear for baby girls 1st bday.

That's a perfect ideas and it will last forever from generations to generations

Voice can break though i had it die on one of my bears. Gd idea though

If it does you can get another one put in. Or, if you notice the voice becoming distorted you can get it sent in for a battery replacement.

Build a bear supposedly will replace it for free

My parents are doing this for me and my sisters babies❤️

Great idea

Until the batteries die. Ours is 4 years strong and still working but they'll eventually die I'm sure. The recording will be erased when that happens.

I just moved and found some bears that I had made when I was little. They still work and they’re pretty funny.

Do they not have replacement batteries for these bears? I’m not sure but that would be sad if they made them with no replacement batteries 🥺

Another affordable way you can buy the recorder 2 for $18 on Amazon and stuff it in any fav stuff toy.

I’m speaking for an upcoming birthday with the present time of not being able to go out side for safety reasons

Build a bear has $10 bears. The experience is great too. Makes the bear extra special.

This is what I was planning to do for my daughter she’s just about 3 months now we just haven’t had the time to go do it yet. Plus with the lockdown now I doubt we can do it anytime soon.

For a baby so young buy the recorders online and record at home and when they get older to appreciate the experience you take them to the store

We did that for my husband and I me when she turned 1. Momma bear and daddy bear. The daddy bear my husband dressed how this outfit. She is two now and two of her FAVORITE toys. She has to have them when she sleeps somewhere without us. She presses their hands to hear our voices. It's fantastic.
