Quarantine help me!

Hi moms! How are we holding up with all the chaos of the kids being home and taking care of babies? Has anyone seen a difference in their babies behavior? I read an article yesterday about sleep (my baby is a horrible sleeper and I'm constantly seeking help) and it made a point i never thought of before. It said that babies need change of environments through out the day to tire them out. When they start getting fussy and show signs of early tiredness or frustration they are telling you they are bored and restless. Supposedly this leads to frequent night wakes and short naps. Any opinions?

I’ve got a 2.5yo and a 5 month old. I suppose that makes sense, but I haven’t noticed much of a difference with my kids. We do try to take a walk around the neighborhood once a day if the weather is nice. Maybe this is enough change to counteract those effects? I am currently sleep training my 5 month old, but I don’t think that had anything to do with quarantine. I’ve just been nursing him to sleep 🤦🏼‍♀️ and now I’m dealing with the consequences.

My baby was a horrible sleeper up until 6 mos of age when I finally gave in and did a sleep program, taking cara babies. Before he was waking every 1-3 hours to nurse. Not only was I exhausted after 6 months of horrible sleep but I was concerned about his development since he was waking so much. The program was a game changer, he’s now sleeping 10-11 hours straight on his own. I really didn’t want to do a sleep program because I don’t like him crying but I was happy I could go In his room and console him in intervals so he knew I wasn’t leaving him. She offers other alternatives too like picking them up or staying in the room although she says it will take longer. Hope you get some rest soon!!

I have noticed when we don’t get out it’s a fight through the night to sleep my 10m old is finally getting the hang of it! Yes have learned to go on walks changing up!!! I mean i get bored to
