He’s finally here!! What a story! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

It was amazing. It was traumatic. It was PAINFUL! And it was worth it. What a cool story this turned in to! ♥️

Finally induced at 41 weeks and even though I kept telling everyone I knew he was so big just from how he felt in me and the ultrasounds but everyone kept telling me “oh they can be off by up to two pounds I’m sure he’s a fine size for birthing lol silly people. After 16 of the most painful hours of my existence, literally thinking I would die, I finally caved and went against my own birth plan and told my doc to get me in to a csec. There was something definitely wrong trying to birth him vaginally. That pain was NOT ok and felt like I was breaking the bottom half of my body off. I couldn’t take it any more! So they get me in and everyone in the room just couldn’t believe their eyes 🤣 not only was he 10lb3oz, 22.5in long, but he actually had a “true knot” in his cord! My doctor was so complimentary and proud of me for coming to the csec decision because not only would he have destroyed me internally and externally and his most likely shoulder damage if we tried to pass him vaginally, but she said it was a true blessing because of how much of a risk having a knot in the cord would have been and it cutting off oxygen while trying to birth him which could have put his life at risk! I’m so thankful for all the pain and change of plans and choices these last couple days were. I wouldn’t change a thing. He’s PERFECT!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?
