Coffee....oh wait your asking for you daughter lol maybe give her a special breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes or a pastries after growing food of course! My dad would wake us up with music sometimes. 😊💟

I had a friend who put wind chimes in her kids room, so when the door opened they would hear that instead of an alarm clock. I will most likely do that for my daughter 😊🎶🎼

I always made sure I was well prepared the night before. Lunches made, bags packed, clothes out and ready to go. Slowly waking my son up earlier and earlier eventually worked also. I even went as far as making breakfast the night before and having it in the fridge. Like over night oats or something :)

Being prepared the night before has really helped our 9 yr old over the years. She picks out her clothes for the next day, helps pack her lunch, and set up her backpack all the night before. I get her up 30 mins before the other 3 and she enjoys a cup of hot tea while I drink my coffee. We use this as our mom n me time. Than she gets to help with breakfast and getting everyone else up for the day. It makes her feel like she has an important job to contribute to the family. Now I can't get her to sleep in with the rest of us on the weekends.😂

Prepping the night before, starting the early wake up a few days before school to help get used to the new routine and leaving enough time for a gentle wake up. My grandmother used to wake us up by quietly singing “Good morning to you. Good morning to you. Good morning *insert their name*. Mommy and Daddy love you.” Sung to the tune of happy birthday. Not sure why but it always put a smile on my face as a child and it does so for my dragon baby in the morning 🙂

Our mornings are so stressful, too. I’m going to try breakfast smoothies this week to see if it helps. She just won’t eat, but then gets in trouble for being cranky at school.

This was sent a couple months ago I see. Did you find out any tricks, secrets?? Already halfway through and my kiddos Still isn’t Adjusted!! He StiLl wants to ‘nap’ when he gets home at 315 then there goes a goood bedtime for Kindergarten next morning. 🤦‍♀️😒.

The first couple of months were hard- she was exhausted when she got home. We just tried to keep her Moving and awake till 6:00 -6:30, then she would sleep through the night. The evenings are much harder than the mornings for us. She’s adjusted now and makes it easily til 7ish. Sorry- no great advice- we just would do things she finds fun to keep her awake. Playground, bike rides, some cartoons, playing board games etc...

I know I was a struggle for my mom to get to school, from the day I started preschool to the day I graduated. I’m not a school person or a morning person, and even now I work 2nd shift 🤣 Leave plenty of “wake up” time in the morning before jumping into getting ready (even if it means getting up a little earlier, it helps), a nice breakfast especially that smells good (cinnamon rolls are v convincing), and waking up nicely (to music or a gentle Good morning, rather than “time to get up!” or an obnoxious alarm. My parents got me an alarm clock that played radio music as the alarm). Best of luck 😉

I’m totally late to the party lolol

I’m very late to this post… but what I’ve always done is start the morning by playing upbeat fun music. My girls loved it. They’re teens now and still like to do this for the drive in to school. When they were young I’d put on Happy by Pharrell Williams or Good Morning by Mandisa and I’d dance and sing around their rooms turning lights on. It kinda helped that I am a morning person lol. Theyre still not morning people but it helped for them to not wake up grouchy
