I’ve been using mainly Dove moisturiser and sometimes palmers cocoa butter since very early on. I’m 36 weeks now and not a single mark on my belly so seems to have worked well! X

Oh thats really good then isnt it. I love the cocoa butter one, but just picked the other up today to try, not bloody cheap though 🙈 x
I heard is generic but if we can prevent it, why not? Those are both great! Also mustella oil!! I used all of it three times a day! I was always tuning it ! No marks at all for my first baby... I plan to use it again for second. And keep drinking ater

Thank you, i just wanted to see what others thought, ftm and all that haha. Oh i drink plenty of water i cant get enough of it 🙈 x
I use bio oil all the time and have done through both pregnancies, no stretch marks yet....

Think ill just use both for now, no harm is there x
Exactly. Costco usually has the best price for Bio Oil if you need any more 👍🏻
My whole pregnancy I used cocoa butter and I didn’t get a single stretch mark so I think this cream helped me x
I think it’s about genetics. Obviously you want to keep stretching skin hydrated to help keep it from scarring and itching. But my friend used bio oil and creams all through her pregnancy. She got really deep long stretch marks. I on the other hand maybe put cream on it 10 times and just did my normal aveeno all over my body and I didn’t haven any marks.
I use RenGen oil it’s basically the cheaper version of Bio Oil - ive been using it since day 1 and I’m 34+6 and not one stretch mark xx
I used both, it did help, didn’t prevent all Of them. And once bby was born and stomach shrunk. I saw loads. So for me neither of them worked. I alternated between the two Thru out the day x
I feel like it's mostly down to genetics and your skin rather than which cream you use Saying that, I still like to use bio gel just keep bump skin hydrated. I much prefer the gel to the oil x

It's incredible for dry skin!! Less sticky and iv lost half my tub as my husband likes to use it for his feet hahaha... Even he's obbsesed with it... Worth the £15 x
Oh i didnt know they did a gel x
I have been using these two exact products throughout my pregnancy and been finding them really beneficial. I am over 28 weeks now and no stretch marks yet! Genetic wise my Mum didn't get any either, so I'm expecting to make it to the end and hopefully not get any. Hope that helps.
I used the cocoa butter for both my pregnancies before and after baby and zero stretch marks!! I’m on my third pregnancy now and I am using it again however it could be good genes as I heard it doesn’t matter what some women use they still get marks 🤷♀️
I used the Palmers and didn't get a single stretch mark (honestly it's fucking beyond me because I'm tiny and had a biiiiggg baby 😅) but yeah for me the palmers cream in the picture there was amazing for me xx
I am using the Palmer's lotion you have pictured along with Maderma quick dry oil and I have stretch marks so I really think it boils down to genetics 🤷🏽 I'm hoping the Maderma helps with the appearance.
Yes, genetics plays a major role. Being sure your staying hydrated also helps with skin elasticity. I have always been big on moisturizing even prior to pregnancy, (full body lotion after every shower) and I have zero stretch marks! Oh and I also heard to try to refrain from itching!
I agree that genetics play a huge role, as my mom never got stretch marks for my brother or myself and I am currently 37 weeks without any stretch marks aside from one very tiny one on my right boob. I also religiously use a coconut oil moisturizer every morning and evening on my belly, lower back and boobs
The Elemis Japanese Camellia oil is great as bump starts to really stretch. It’s used for therapists in pregnancy massage and is a great treat for you and itchy skin. My expert midwife range is also very nice. Esp their fantastic skin elastic for a pregnancy belly rub. Nearly due and no stretch marks to date.

My Husband bought the Elemis Japanese camellia oil as a treat the other day, looking forward to using that as an added extra! Glad to hear it's great 🙂

I used this this the whole way through my pregnancy and I don't have on stretch mark. It's the best.
I use palmers, I'm 6ft tall and basically grew over night at the age of 13 so I have a lot of stretch marks on my legs and the bio oil is more useful once you have stretch marks to fade them, in my opinion...
I used a natural oil (sweet almond) from about 4 months and put it on every night before bed and after showers aswel and I only got a small few stretch marks on my hips- none on my tummy! Hope this helps. But everyone is different I suppose ..I got bio oil for after pregnancy - don’t see much of a difference as of yet
I use the palmers one and have been since I was 5 weeks. I have stretch marks from when I was a teenager so I’m really trying to reduce the chances of them coming back/getting worse. I used to use bio oil on them and it does work but I find it very greasy.
I’ve bought both of these products too and hoping they work 🤞🏼I do find the bio oil super oily tho, especially when you’re wanting to apply before getting dressed! Hope they work for you ☺️
It’s all genetics , plus I didn’t see any stretch marks until after I gave birth, which was very little! My mom was the same .
I used Palmers throughout my pregnancy and havent got any stretch marks xx
I made some body butter with Shea butter, avocado oil, vitamin E, Aloe Vera and some Orange essential oil. It was really simple to make and it keeps my skin really moisturized. No stretch marks yet!!!

Oh thats a good idea, i bet it smells lovely aswell x
Aloe, bio oil, and coconut oil and drink lots and lots of water have been using to get rid of them but I don’t know what keeps them away because so far drinking lots and lots of water is the best thing that can keep stretch marks from happening as you grow while pregnant there is also some research that says certain foods can help like leafy greens certain meets there’s a bunch of different studies hard to say what’s best
I used Palmers and bio oil every other day and didn't get any stretch marks with either pregnancy x
I use the massage lotion on my stretch marks (not from having my babies) and it’s really helped them they are less itch and are becoming less noticeable xx
I used the palmers one with my first baby and got no stretch marks at all so I’m using it again with my second pregnancy. I put it on every morning and every night. X
I’ve heard it’s all genetics sadly. Although it’s worth a shot! I religiously used bio oil along with other moisturizers whilst pregnant and I don’t have a single stretch mark, but my mum and sister don’t either so it could be down to genetics. I did enjoy looking after myself and my skin felt lovely so it might be worth doing either way!
I’ve used palmers throughout and so far so good as I haven’t got any! I would really recommend the palmers tummy butter too. It’s a lot thicker than the cream so I tend to put that one on at night time to let it fully soak in and then the cream in the morning after I’ve had a shower ☺️

Oh thats a good idea i may buy the butter when ive ran out of the cream x
They’re only about £3 for a tub and it’s lasted me quite a while now 😅
I've been using Burts Bee's Mama Bee Belly butter and Bio Oil together. So far so good. 🤷🏿♀️

Whether or not you get Stretch marks is all up to genetics, however you can make yourself more comfortable and reduce itching and tightness with a good lotion or cream. Bio oil will help reduce inflammation and discoloring if you are prone to them! I’ve actually heard the best thing you can do is stay super hydrated!
I use bio oil every other day as I do find it a big greasy but I can’t complain. I’m 27 weeks and no signs of any stretch marks so far. I have old ones from puberty on my boobs but they’ve stayed the same not gotten any worse.

I have lots of stretch marks on my bum, thighs and boobs from growth spurts and hitting puberty and I’m honestly thinking that they’ll help me gain fewer this pregnancy- I’ve already got room!
I used both! I would use oil after the bath and used palmers morning and night too and I still got stretch marks right at the end but they defo helped for a long time and helped fade them after x
I used both. It didn’t stop stretch marks from developing 100% but it definitely made them lighter and not as visible
I use bio oil! I’m 29+1 and I’ve just started getting a few veins appearing which I think will be where my stretch marks will be. My midwife said it’s the luck of the draw and 80% will get them, even if we use bio-oil, but it will help reduce the appearance of them x
I think as long as u moisturise it doesn’t matter what u use too much. I’m 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby & don’t have a single stretch mark. I mainly used coconut oil this pregnancy & last but first prefix think I just used good body lotions x
I’ve used both and I’m 38 weeks today. I do think it’s genetics whether you get stretch marks. I didn’t get any with my first and I thought I got some now but it was only dry skin. Both worked well to help with the dryness.
Hey hun! I used body shop body butters throughout my pregnancy twice a day and ended up with no stretch marks .. midwife told me to keep using it after birth as well as sometimes they can appear after Xxx
I'm 29wks, have loads already and I've been using Burts Bees morning and night since about 16wks. My mums covered too, so I think a lot is down to genetics but going to keep lathering it on anyway in the hopes they don't get worse 😆
https://secretsaviours.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrO7bl52v6gIVw7TtCh1VBgfaEAAYASAAEgLm5PD_BwE The above link is what I’ve been using since I was 12 weeks, all of my family gained stomach stretch marks during pregnancy and I developed them during puberty on my hips, breast and thighs so I was petrified of getting them during pregnancy. I’m now nearly 38 weeks and the only slight stretch mark I have is over my belly button and that’s because of my naval piercing but the rest of my stomach is absolutely stretch mark free and so so smooth from the day gel and night cream. I have to say it is quite pricey but it’s been so so worth it and not only does it help to prevent stretch marks the band you wear daily really helps with back support I’ve noticed when I don’t wear it I get a lot of back pain. I fully recommend using! X

I have also been using this and I am 38 weeks with no stretch marks yet - holding thumbs!
Oh thank you ill have a look now 😊 x
I just use regular lotion and I got very little marks with my first baby. Im 27w and still using just regular lotion and no marks so far yet
Didn’t use a single product during pregnancy and don’t have a single stretch mark =) I’m what you may call “chubby” and except some pregnancy Pilates I didn’t exercise at all during pregnancy and am not sporty at all. Be careful what you put on your body as the skin is your largest organ. Cocoa butter is awesome and innocent enough but a lot of those creams have bad stuff in them... I always got scared baby was gonna get impacted so didn’t even start coloring my hair despite my head full of whites...
Palmers products are amazing in general
I use bio oil but not consistently and I’m still getting new stretch marks as my skin continues to stretch. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I just saw new stretch marks appear on my thighs and behind my upper legs and calves. But I havent been moisturizing my legs as much.
I bought the exact same stuff and have been using it for the last couple weeks, it definitely makes my skin feel moisturized and soft. My SIL said it helped her, but I do agree with the comment that genetics have a lot to do with whether you will get stretch marks or not. I figure it can’t hurt, just embrace your body no matter the outcome! You are growing a human and are beautiful no matter what.

I used the bio oil pretty regularly with my first, however I’m 5 feet tall and he was 8lbs and some change. No getting around stretch mark there but it helped immensely with the rash I developed 👍🏼

I’m just over 5ft & have had 2 8lb babies & pregnant with my 3rd but don’t have a single stretch mark. I think some people are prone to stretch marks & some aren’t regardless of what they do or don’t do x
I use the same cocoa butter but I also use olive oil or coconut oil sometimes (:
I've read that Bio-oil works better for prevention and cocoa butter is not claiming to prevent them it's saying reduce the appearance once they occur.
O started using bio oil but then felt it wasn't fore so went on to the Palmers butter instead and it's what I've been using everyday, all over my body and reinforce it on my lower back, bump and breasts. Makes my skin feel really moist and doesn't mark my clothes.
I used coconut butter palmers morning and night and odd go of bio oil. Lots of water and no stretch marks. Now preg with second and hoping it works this time round too xx
No they’re not cheap but they are lush! I didn’t buy anything special to be honest, I just use whatever moisturiser is around! 😂 x
