Your awesome mama!! I’ve had all my babies at home! All underwater births .. The hot water was a life saver! My last baby was unassisted! I loved it!!!

That’s amazing on all homebirths! Did you prefer the unassisted birth to the others? And thank you!!
I did! It was peaceful!
I hear ya! If I didn’t already have 4 kids I might not have done it! But by then I trusted the process!

That is so kind! It’s something I never thought I’d be able to do because I am considered high risk but some factors changed and God worked it out! I feel so incredibly blessed.
It’s such a fantastic thing to do, I’m aiming for a home birth but as a FTM who knows what will happen nearer the time. Well done & thank you for sharing ❤️
Wow. Are u my real life superhero? I think so!

That is so sweet! All mama’s are, right?
Wow such a lovely photo! I had a home birth with my partner and one year old right by my side! I wanted a water birth but by the time the midwife got to me I was already 8cm! Currently pregnant with baby number 3 hopefully another home birth that both my boys can be apart of!xx

Thank you. Oh that’s awesome!!!! Maybe a water birth this time. Can your midwife leave the birthing tub there a couple weeks in advance? That’s what mine did. It’s so wonderful getting to have our kids be apart of it.
I can hire a birthing pool from the hospital that's what we did last time just didn't have enough time to fill it up 😂 i didn't know I was in labour until around 12.30am the hospital told us not to fill it until the midwife had cheched how far I am but she got lost finding our address and he had arrived by 1.30am 😂 Definitely going to go with my gut instinct this time though.
This made me cry! My 3 yo would have loved to be a part of that. Looking back I wish I made different choices. What a beautiful way to bring your baby into the world. So powerful too!

Thank you!! My son being their was one of the most important parts of my birth plan to me. I bet your 3 yo would’ve, too. We only do what we know!! My first hospital birth inspired me to seek different the second time around.
Beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for sharing

Thank you!! And you are welcome ♥️
Aww this is so awesome. I am about to have my 3rd home water birth and have been wondering if having my 1.5 yr old there would be ok. This gives me hope.

I looooved it but it also didn’t bother me at all to have him crawling on me and touching me. I know not all women feel that way during birth. If you do though, I highly recommend it!
I’ll be birthing at home in October! I’m very excited to get everything set up and have my hubby catch our first born ❤️ what a special moment for you and your family! Thank you for sharing

How exciting!!!! I hope you share photos ♥️
Team home birth 💕 I had my 2 boys at home but before looking into birth options, I would have NEVER imagined anything besides a traditional hospital birth. I didn’t think twice about it. My motto was, if drugs are available, why go through pain?? I didn’t make the transition to HB until much later after TONS of research and it was meant for me (It’s not for everyone) Things fell into place with my midwife and Bradley Method Coach. I am FAR from “crunchy” 😂 but my path somehow led us down this route through education and it became unbelievably empowering and I can’t believe I didn’t stop to ask questions before about everything pregnancy/birth related. My most recent was in water, which was fabulous. positive energy, low lights, calming music, experienced midwife and husband to be there as you navigate through the journey to motherhood 😌 Sorry about the long response but it gets me so excited to hear of other women having the same positive experiences especially in the states.

That’s amazing!!! I am so glad you took time to research. I am more natural minded and I am so grateful because that allowed me to see other women doing HB and realize that the hospital isn’t the only safe option. Empowering is the right word!! And I’m happy for the long post and to hear about your experience!!
Homebirth is something that I wanted to do; still want to do it later on in the future when me and my fiance decide to have more kids. Needless to say, you sharing a bit of your experience is inspiring!!!

Amazing! My sister just had a home water birth unassisted by any medical professionals just her and her partner after a very traumatic c-section she was adamant to do things differently this time round, she did it and my nephew is a week old. And amazing. Thank you for sharing, also had a waterbirth but at a birthing centre because homebirth got cancelled due to covid. Still a very magical water birth within 1 hour ans 10 mins of getting to centre x

Wow!! That’s amazing!!!
That is amazing! I had a very traumatic c section (meant to be a water birth in a birthing centre ). I didn’t know home birth is a thing after a c section
I had a home birth July 27th! It wasn’t as serene as I envisioned, because I ended up having a cervical lip and a nearly 10 pound posterior baby 😅 but I’m still so happy I had a home birth and would do it again 100%.

That’s the amazing thing about homebirth that many don’t realize. Midwifes are very qualified to handle any birth complications. I’m so glad you got to do it at home!!
I had a home birth too with my 2nd it was amazing! Loved it! So lovely 🥰it’s quite safe and less intervention guaranteed
Had a great home birth and my 1 year old was there the whole time. Couldn't image birthing any other way
So amazing. I soo wanted to have homebirth but family convinced me otherwise. Had to have a c- section finally as I did not progress fast enough for the nurse
My first home birth didn’t go as planned thanks to high blood pressure! But going to be attempting another one this time around! So so excited

That was my fourth birth but first attempt at a home birth. Really Hoping to keep my blood pressure at bay this time!
I was transferred for high blood pressure for my first birth too, but I was able to have a successful homebirth a few months ago! You can do it mama💪🏼 things can change!
I had a homebirth in May! My son was born on Mother’s Day actually haha. It was so empowering and peaceful and my 2 year old loved being there. She was instantly so protective of him, and yelled at the midwives to leave him alone😂 1.5 labor is crazy fast!! Did you get any breaks between contractions? That seems so fast and furious!
Incredible !!!
Oh my goodness 😍 That picture. Contraindications ❤️
I've had both a hospital birth and a at home birth. Plus I had petosin at the hospital. Home virth all day!
Had a home birth with my first baby in October,it was a fantastic experience!! Had 2 wonder midwifes and whole thing only took 3.5 hrs! No pain relief or gas and air💙 just used a birthing pool and hypnobirthing breathing techniques. Was so lovely and calm!!! Everyone thought we were mad, well apart from my extremely supportive midwife! Kx
Love this !!! Didn’t give birth at home but I did birth at a birthing center in the water and it was such an amazing experience ☺️🌈
Did not plan on having a home birth but ended up delivering my sweet baby girl on the way out of our apartment
