Never underestimate how much of a workout it is pushing a pram up a hill! It’s free, gets you outside and tones up you legs and bum!

Do you breastfeed? I only put on tummy weight for pregnancy and breastfeeding sucked it all back in to prepreggers body by about three months. I had several stitches so couldn't really do exert. At six months pp now I've started gaining weight with the breastfeeding munchies though so gonna have to think about exercise 😆

You can do it! My workmate is in her 40s now has two kids and a body to die for. BUT you do need to give yourself time to heal. It's only been six weeks at least give yourself a few months. Remember it took nine months to grow your body you do need to rest it (and some because you'll be working so hard as a mama as well!) Take small steps and build up. Water first thing. YouTube some baby yoga videos so both of you can enjoy it. Look for local groups that do special mummy exercises and go out walking with the pram when you can. 😁

Listen to your body! If you feel like you’re ready to get back into somewhat of a workout routine, consult with your doctor and then absolutely do what you feel comfortable doing! I’d be careful with any strict dieting if you’re breastfeeding as I’ve heard that can cause a dip in your supply. I’m 8 weeks PP and decided around 5 weeks I could start walking, I started off slow and worked my way up to 2 miles a day. I’ve thrown in some pelvic floor and TVA strengthening, but I’m letting my body tell me what it’s ready for and not pushing it over it’s limits yet. You just had a baby, definitely listen to your body and do what makes you feel good! ☺️

I started walking 3 days pp , I didn’t diet but chose healthy options and lost all my gained pregnancy weight by 1 month pp. I started doing light exercises before my 6 week check up light lunges, light arm weights ect but not for long and not often. I still don’t look “the same” as I did pre baby like more curvy and my belly’s still a little puffy even though the kilos are off I still need to tone up but I’m sure I’ll get there eventually When I went for my 6 week appointment I told my doc I’d been lightly exercising and she was fine with it I think it depends on your recovery, I felt amazing the day after I gave birth, depends on your healing ect listen to your body

Haha that’s exactly what I thought about myself, I’ll never have those abs back 😂 but We will love our new found bodies however that may be because we created a little human xx

Thank you :) yes I will start tomorrow Knowing it’s all okay. I feel fine within myself to do so. I guess I won’t get the body back like you said. I didn’t gain as much as I thought but I use to have such nice abs (May I say so myself hahah) and I guess I’ll be more curvier
