Eating healthy??

I unfortunately grew up on cheap processed foods and I want to change my diet. Now that my baby is about to start eating solids I realized I want to give him fresh clean healthy food. But where do I start 😓 I've been trying to research and look at different recipes and such but it's all so confusing and stressful. I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm freaked out!

I would just start with eating as much produce as you can.. fruits & veggies. Learn different way to cook veggies to taste good. Switch to whole grains, or even plant based pastas too! Making your own pasta sauces instead of canned. Feel free to pm me for simple recipes!

If you can afford it, a box service such as hello fresh could be a good option - even to just get you used to using different types of veg and methods of cooking - baby can eat virtually anything you eat if BLW so there would be no need to make separate meals for baby - just maybe separate off baby's before adding salt/overly spicy sauces etc Also you can add vegetables to your fave meals quite easily, especially if there's seasonings/salts that can hide the flavours you're not a fan off (eg curry, you can add mushrooms, peas, cauliflower etc and the sauce can cover the flavour)

I got a subscription from Hungry Harvest with the biggest size they have ($33 per delivery). It’s enough to have a ton of produce at every meal as well as snacks for two weeks. A bargain in my opinion! Like I get so much I can hardly fit it all in my refrigerator 😂 Having that amount of produce in my fridge along with my fear of waste makes me get creative and use it all up! It’s customizable so you don’t end up with anything you don’t want. And if you plan to make your own purée or do BLW you can get fruits and veggies your little one would like! And obviously you can get a smaller box instead of going crazy like me. But bigger boxes get free shipping http://hharvest.net/m5hwdgK

Sometimes I just want to eat and eat and eat nonstop, and having lighter options helps with my weight so much. Like I can binge on cherries all day long, but two pounds of those is only 500 calories. Do you know how freaking long it takes to eat two pounds of cherries?! Like the same number of calories as a single scoop of Cherry Garcia ice cream (which I would eat in two seconds flat)
