Eating the same during pregnancy?

Hi fam! I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I noticed that I really don’t eat more that I would regularly (when I’m not pregnant). I’m gaining weight **very slowly**. Doctor didn’t seem concerned last checkup(3 weeks ago), but I can’t tell if My belly has gotten bigger since then. Baby is moving so that’s a good sign. Any thoughts? Is it ok to not be eating more? Or should I try to get more calories in?

There is no such a thing as eating for 2 unless you are told by doctor that you have to..you are looking perfectly healthy,I would of been happy if my appetite was the same 😂 trust me after birth you will thank yourself lol

NHS advises a calorie increase in 3rd trimester and its only 200kcals.

I had zero appetite in first trimester and though it picked up again in second i wouldn't say im eating loads more. I guess I definitely do skipnkeals like breakfast any more. My midwife suggested the other week that your just need 200 extra calories a day. I'm third trimester now so dont know if that is specific to how far along I am or just in general.

I'm 22 weeks and I actually eat alot less then I did pre pregnancy. Baby is growing well and doctor is happy, I think its just different for everyone.

It’s only in the 3rd trimester that you need additional calories and even then it’s only an additional 300 cals
