How long were you in labor for?

Just curious how long were you in labor for with your 2nd? I’m 35 weeks but I’m worried about my mom not being able to be here on time when the time comes I’m in Texas she’s in Cali 🤔

5 hours.

Induced at 11am by 3am the next morning I started getting back labor & 8am my water broke ! Then she made her appearance at 3pm that afternoon. I had a really easy labor/delivery. They let me have an epidural the moment back labor started & I slept until noon .. the nurses came in and were like alright you gotta wake up. Time to start pushing 😅

Honestly, I have no clue 🤣 I got to work around 8:15am and was told I was in labor and needed to leave but I didn’t even believe it because I literally felt nothing. I was already a little over 5cm & 100% effaced at my appt the day before . I went to the hospital just to be safe and sure enough I was in labor and ended up having him at 8:13pm the same night but I have no clue how long I’d been in labor for before 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

My 1st was 36hrs My 2nd was 29hrs My 3rd was 13hrs quickest but most painful of them all

First 24 hours 36 minutes seconds 4 days and ended up with a emergency c section xx

45hrs but only 10mins of pushing!

My first was 28 hours but my second was 12

My first was 1 and half hrs and my second was 4 hrs and breech

5 days

Active labor 23 hours before I got an epidural I don't honestly know total because I had an emergency c-section I think it was 28 hours total

7 hours of active labor, pushed for about 5 minutes, shot her out with less than 10 pushes 😅😂

42 hrs but about 5 minutes of pushing

I got induced, took 4 days then I ended up having to have a c- section

48 hours before they finally did a c-section

Different with each child. First one a few hours then up to 10 hrs but only because I was induced.

36, but 10 hours active labour and 1 hour pushing

Both my kids were born after unusually short labor times. With my first, I began having contractions around 2 pm, made it to the hospital by 3:30 pm, and she was born by 7:30 pm. With my second, my water broke the middle of the night in a slow leak. I went to my dr appointment at 1:15 pm to be told it had broken and he would be born within a couple days (no contractions yet) and was admitted to the hospital. I was induced at 6 pm after being told it’d be a long night only to have him born at 9:48 pm a couple hours later!

36 hrs! And then finally had to have a c-section

Induced on the 18th at 12am didn't give birth until the 20th at 5am

Started having mild contractions the day before so I had time to warn my parents it was happening soon at 37 weeks. Barely made it to the hospital when the contractions got strong that night.

About 6 hours 😂 And 6 pushes. I had to get induced but once I did she was ready to get out

i was induced but about 10 hours before i had an energy c section

52 hours with my first, eventually had a smooth vaginal delivery. 2nd came in a speedy 12 hours 😂.

My first came in less than 8 hours, 3.5hours after we got to the hospital. My second was just shy of 24 hours. Both of these are counted start to finish (water breaking/ mucus plug+contractions)

3 hrs and baby was out
