Natural contraception method

Hi ladies, Is there anyone who is using the natural contraception method ? If so, how are you finding it ? I'm sick of the extra hormonal contraceptions out there as they mess up my mood swings & make me put on weight. Let me know .....

We use the pull out method and recently I have been taking the progesterone only pill along with breast feeding. The pill works for me since I have low progesterone levels and had actually helped me lose weight

Oh, and one last thing 😊. You can also check out Tempdrop, which is a thermometer that you wear while you sleep and it automatically tracks your temperature for you. That way you don’t have to wake at a certain time every day and take it manually. I’ve been using it for almost a year now and really love it.

I use temp drop too. It works better for me than the wink thermometer

I also wanted to add in case no one has mentioned it already, the app Kindara is amazing for tracking your cycle. It has a very helpful section with all the information you need to learn about the method and how it can be most effective. It is not the same as the calendar method wherein you assume what day you will ovulate. If you go all natural you have to be able to pinpoint ovulation, which is different for every woman and from cycle to cycle. The knowledge base section of the app teaches you how you can do that so that you feel confident that you won’t get pregnant until you’re ready. I highly recommend checking it out and just reading what’s there. I learned the method by just reading their articles over and over again.

I used natural cycles for 4 years until I got pregnant (unplanned). I have to admit I didn’t always took my temperature so that’s probably how I got pregnant. I recently got a copper coil that lasts for years (no hormones) and you don’t have to think about when you’re ovulating or not. I mean it’s way more invasive than just tracking your cycle but it’s another option ( a bit more effective too) without using hormones...
