Do you have tattoos?

I am 18 weeks pregnant now and absolutely terrified that my tattoo is going to stretch and never be the same 😭 whats everybody's else's experience with tattoos and pregnancy?

It gets bigger and then it shrinks back, I have a butterfly that looks like a moth when I’m pregnant and then a butterfly again after. Might need a touch up, might not, you’ll be fine. If it does stretch when you’re pregnant and get bigger, just know it will go back, don’t panic.

aww, a lot of reassurance knowing it will go back thank you!

I have tattoos on both my inner hips and they went straight back to normal x

Remember as your baby grows your grandmas growing with them too it will be fine love I have a cover up I got done before I found out I was pregnant on my chest and it’s bigger than the original and because my boobs were big already and even bigger now it stretched some but it doesn’t look bad

Mine stretched when I was pregnant but then when back to normal 👍

Might not stretch that much, depends how you're carrying, but as long as you take care of your skin it should go back 😊 I'm carrying low so my skin hasn't stretched at all at that level, but I know a couple of ladies who carry high and probably would have had some stretching up there!

Okay that tattoo is adorable

It will go back to normal after, just like pulling an elastic band ❤

No experience.. But now preety omg its beautiful 😍

I have a tattoo in the same place and it seems to be absolutely fine! X

The tattoo is beautiful!! 👍 I'm not sure about that cuz I don't have any tattoos. Stomach does go down so maybe it'll be fine.

I have a sternum piece as well and I just keep vitamin e oil on it and lotion to make sure it stays hydrated. Mine went back to normal after my first pregnancy and I hoping it does again after this one! It’s a gorgeous tat!

I have 17 tattoos all over, when I was pregnant I only had 15 and they did stretch but snapped back to normal when I had my son. Just make sure you take proper care of it so you don’t get an infection because that could end up not being very good ha but don’t worry yourself it looks awesome
