When in doubt consult your pediatrician! It's tough with all the misinformation out there.

Thank you
Hey Marija Congratulations 🥰 You could try wonky winding, but just remember newborns have immature digestive tracts and it just takes a bit for everything to develop https://www.instagram.com/p/B_7K8kCge_T/?igshid=i9w9siufp3hh Very normal that your baby only wants to be on you - look up the 4th trimester. He hasn’t realised yet that him and you are two different people ☺️ If you’re struggling to get proper sleep as he’ll only sleep on you, you could look into safe bedsharing or tag team with your partner x https://www.llli.org/breastfeeding-info/sleep-bedshare/

You’re doing great! Whenever you find yourself getting sleepy make sure you put him down. The newborn weeks are exhausting but they go by in a flash x
Brilliant ♡ , hes sleeping next to me I'm just terrified of falling asleep when hes on me at night but I'm sure I'll miss these nights in a feature xx
Gripe water has been known to choke babies as it is thick. Just make sure he is upright and give it slowly and let him dictate the speed by suckling. After cycling the legs, are you pushing them up against his tummy?

Definitely. Looked at YouTube how to do and we are doing every day seems to like it
Try olive oil, rub on babys belly like a gentle massage should also help with trapped wind

Also if nothing works, colief was my lifesaver literally like having a new baby the next day🤣
Thank you... definitely want to try everything in the books xx

Yeah I know just feel like I'm falling... thank you xx
We had the same with our baby, we tried gripe water but he hated it so we used infacol before each bottle. It helped get his wind up so much better x

Will try just think he needs to be burpt every time he eats and not only when I feed him. Thank you
My little one had it everyday for the first 4months. I would notice if I’d forgotten coz he would vomit after feeds if I didn’t. I stil use it now to help on occasion with him now he’s 10months. I hope it works as well for you as it did for us. BIG HELP
We used to set her down for tummy time shortly after she ate and from her wriggling she would end up self burping.

Thanks... at night is when more difficult because I'm so scared to fall asleep but will try suggesting to her. X
I preferred Infacol to gripe water. It’s easier to give and they don’t choke on it as easily. They can also have this from birth :) x

Thanks he really likes boiling water sounds 🙃
No advise on gripe water but infacol before feeds and colief in bottles has helped and my little one is 6 weeks, I feel the pain xx
He's really cute!
I've been giving infacol before every feed. It took about 10 days to start helping but once it did it was an absolute life saver!
Gripe water or gas drops really help. I always just made sure to buy non-alcoholic gripe water, it smells like black licorice.

My little girl suffered with this. I didn’t try gripe water because it used to take my nieces breath away. I also found infafol quite harsh. I use dentinox colic drops in her last bottle before bed and it’s fantastic x
Wellements gripe water after big feeds really helps my 6 week old babe. I just use it sparingly
My baby is 5 weeks old and is struggling with trapped wind and I've recently tried him on Dentinox colic drops and it seems to be working x
I gave my little one gripe water, simethicone and colic drops and it helped alot. And definitely need to burp thoroughly!

I used all these too 👍
I used mylicon drops which helped my son with gas a lot! If u have them where u are. Gave him it around 1 mo after consulting with his dr
I had similar issue with my first bub and I used infacol with him and it worked a treat, we also occasionally used gripe water but infacol seemed to be most effective for him 🙂
It may be the formula to be honest
I don’t know from the gripe water side of things, but I think you need to have a conversation with your MIL and maybe you need to show her how much you really can pat a baby without causing them any discomforts . Babies have to be burped properly after and sometimes even during every feed especially at such young age because they don’t have the ability to burp themselves. Also keeping baby upright after a feed for at least 20minutes can help with wind too. Gripe water or infacol will help in the short term but proper winding (if it is just trapped gas) will work better long term. Best of luck.
Congratulations on your little one, your baba is going through the fourth trimester this is completely normal newborn behaviour, your heartbeat, warmth and smell give him comfort and being close to you makes him feel safe. Also babies tummy/gut is immature and they need to learn how too poop so it’s possibly that. Have you tried bedsharing if following safe sleep 7 it can be done xx
Thank you all for advice will try to talk my MIL didn't expect to get so much help and support xxx
If he’s really windy you could try swapping him onto a comfort milk? Made a big difference to my nephew
I'm not sure how much he weights going for 6 week appointment but hes a big boy and eats a lot ... but thank you for advice xx
