BOYS NAMES

We cannot agree on any boys names 🙄 we have a few girls names. I like unique names (I work in a nursery so I’m wanting something different). Thank you ❤️

My baby will be named Ezra Jameson Rhodes if it’s a boy! I do love the name Teagan for boy or girl, it’s cute! Also love the name Kai, Jagger, Phoenix, Lakeland, Woodland, and Orion! - oh and Sage is cute. I really like city names for some reason and totally into earthy names. My husband hates EaRThy names sadly! So we stuck with more hipster sounding name hahaha

Lol’ no Orion like in the sky! I love the name Ezra so much! Idk anyone with it

We spoke about the name Ezra the other day! Good choice, there is a boy in my work with the name so that’s the only reason we aren’t set on it. I read Orion as onion and thought how bizarre 😂😂

I named my son Nolan because I wanted something uncommon that no one would try to spell crazy ways.

Ah, I know a Nolan too! This is why it’s so difficult. I associate names with children already and I don’t want that ☹️ it’s a lovely name though xx

Thank you. I hope you find the perfect name. It was a super long process for both of my babies.

This is a fun way to find names www.babynamegenie.com

Thank you ❤️

Well what are your guy's interests? If you like comic books there are a lot of fun names to play around with like Xavier (unique but common enough). Or perhaps you enjoy art: Raphael or Angelo. Maybe you have a shared culture or an abroad trip that you would like to honor: Franz. I think the name doesn't necessarily need to be extremely unique or outrageous so don't push yourself too hard on it just find a name that means something to you and your family and forget what everyone else thinks about it because your baby, your name, period!

I like your thinking! We got married in Cyprus so I’ll look at Cypriot names just now and hopefully find something! Thank you 💕

My son’s name is Sebastion.

Never ending story?

We’re Catholic, so we named him after a Saint. Plus his initials spell out my husband’s first name. 🙂

Boy names are hard. We had a girl name from the beginning but it’s a boy lol. Will most likely be Frenick or Farris. But 🤷🏽‍♀️ maybe I will know by the time he pops out lol

Oh there unusual! I like them ❤️

My husbands name is unusual lol he just can’t decide !

Alaric or Klaus lol

Vampire diaries 😉

Might need to start watching vampire diaries for inspiration 😂

I know exactly how you feel! I worked as a preschool teacher and I’m now a middle school teacher. Lol there’s a couple kiddos whose names I will never forget so I was super worried about picking a name and having a student ruin it for me. My little boy is going to be named Perseus (nickname Percy), it’s a unique name with a story behind it. My husband and I have an inside joke that connects with the Greek demigod’s conception so it’s something special between us. I would look up top Boy names in the past couple years if you want to avoid picking a name you might run into at your job. Personally I’ve had a LOT of boy students named Parker, Levi and Jaden.

I’m so glad you know how I feel! You have picked a lovely unusual name well done!! Hopefully I get inspiration from this x

we’re naming our son jahsiah yian armas!

My son’s name is Atlas Myles and if I have another son we’re naming him Atticus Ludwig! I loooove unique names, and I think those are pretty unique to me 😊

Very unique! I love hearing unique names 💕 good choices x

My sons name is Chancellor Rose or Chance for short. Having the middle name Rose has gotten some negative feedback but I'm in love with it !!

Very unique! I don’t understand why people have opinions about a name, it shouldn’t matter to them!

My sons name is Jameson :) we call him jay. Sort of unique!

That’s lovely 😊 my friends just had a baby called James that they call Jay so maybe too similar x

We named our son Forrest Jon. Like someone else mentioned, we wanted something unique but not completely out to lunch regarding spelling. We definitely didn’t want him to be John#4 or Aiden#5 in his class.

Yes I completely agree! My husband just doesn’t 🙈

We named our daughter Ariana after Ariana Dumbledore. There’s a ton of boy names in that book that we would love to use! Remus is a front runner in my book and my husband likes Lupin (same character 😂). I also really like nature names.

My husband loves those books! I’ll mention this to him see if it sparks anything. Thanks x

Arlow, freedie,Alfie, leo, Archie

Thanks ❤️ there’s a couple there I will run by my husband!

We have a Leo and so happy with the name!!!

Thor is a cute name

I like names inspired by superheroes!!

My hubby does too, but Thor, Loki , were some names we had considered

My son was going to be either Emmet or Lochlan (we hadn't settled on spelling); when he was born I said to him "what's your name? Are you a Lochlan?" And he SCREAMED, then I said "Are you an Emmet?" And he calmed right down - so he's Emmet Robert 😆, but we still like Loch as a possibility for the next one. Others from our shortlist included Nolan (but I was surprised to realize how many people I know have named their kids Nolan), Rowan, and Cormac. I really liked Riordan (Rory for short), my grandmother's maiden name, but my husband vetoed that pretty early on.

I like how you picked the baby’s name! Hopefully by the time it comes we will have a few to consider because at the moment we have nothing 🙈

Pick up a baby names book! From the library maybe. My cousin handed hers down to me, and that’s how I found/picked my son’s name.

We have one 🙈 our ideas of nice names are just so different we can’t agree on even one

I hear you. My husband and I had totally opposite tastes in names. Make a list & keep bouncing ideas off one another! There’s plenty of time left ☺️

My boys names are Josiah and Jeremiah

Lovely! I’m writing a big list and my husband and I will go through it at some point hopefully we find something

I’m glad you like it I actually had someone say to my face the other day they like the name Jeremiah but hate Josiah I’m like ok then 👍🏼 😂

We decided on Lucien Grey! 💙

I wish! That’ll be his middle. If only my husband had such a simple, beautiful last name. 😭

That goes really well! Is grey your surname or is that a middle name?

Kolton was the ONLY boy name we agreed on.

Very nice! I wish we could agree x

You’ll find something!

I know couples that combine their first names to make their kid’s name. My husband’s name is Brian, so we considered Brianna, but we chose something else in the end. Lol Is Vic your full name? What about Victor? 😊

That’s interesting our names combined would be a dreadful name but I like your thinking. I’ll see if I can come up with something. Thanks x

I love August and Rainer but my husband doesn’t 😡

I feel your pain. There’s names I love but my husband won’t even consider them ☹️

Rainer is so handsome I think!

We had a girl but if we had a boy, we liked Sawyer Ford, Remington (Remy for short), and Watson.

I liked Remi but my husband did not!!

Our baby boy’s name is Smith!

Thanks! If we have another boy one day, we are going to use my grandmother’s maiden name, Dwyer. Smith is my mother in law’s maiden name. We like sur names too. If we have a girl she will be Leighton. Leigh (pronounced lay) is my mother’s maiden name.

I loooove surnames as first names, very smart x

My son’s name is Holden Everett! A little different but not too crazy. Some other contenders were Graham, Carter and Chandler

That’s a good strong name. I like it x

Ultimately, I didn’t have the time and patience for my husband and chose the first name for both of us and let him pick the middle name.

What did you pick?

I have a favourite name but my husband won’t let me call it that ☹️ you’re so lucky xx

Harrison, Hendriks, and Tucker are at the top of our list.

It is becoming quite popular, which is starting to turn us off. It is a great name though.

I love Harrison but it’s very popular where I am. Good choice!

My boys name is going to be Nikolas, after his grandfather he sadly never got to meet But I also love Leo, Apollo and Jax

Aww what a lovely tribute and your so fortunate it’s a great name!!!

Thankyou 💙

I really like names that you've heard before but it's been a while since you've actually met someone with that name. My daughter is Veronica Rose and if we had a boy, he'd have been Philip Scott.

I know I’m wracking my brains thinking of all the people I’ve ever met 😂

That’s definitely unusual! I’m taking a note of all of these to run past my husband. Thanks ❤️

My sons name is Carter ! I would pick a name that sounds strong for when your baby gets older. Let me know when you’ve made a decision 💜

That’s exactly what I keep saying! I want a strong mans name!! Great minds think alike x

Anderson, Callahan, Hayes, Barrett, and Beckham are some nice surnames as first names. My 2 year old is Beau and I love it on him. We get home of compliments.

Beau is pronounced like bow or bo. Just the French spelling

How do you pronounce that?

We named our son Isaac after my grandmother Ida. It means one who laughs and my son is the happiest baby. 😊 We have yet to meet any other boy with his name which is what we were hoping.

My brother is named Isaac!

That’s what I want! Don’t want lots of children with the same name 🙈

Jasper Jackson Manuel Parker

Thank you ❤️

My sons name is Augustine!

Very unusual!! Good choice x

I have a trevor and a wyatt but I also loved Tobin and Teagan

My wyatt's middle name is tucker....apparently I like T names

Haha! Very strong names! I like them x

Rhett, Callum, Aizen, my SO is Attikis

Oh some of these I haven’t heard before! Thanks x

If I have a boy in the future I’m calling him Greyson or Forest

I love the name Grayson but my husband doesn’t ☹️

We named our son, Nikolai. It’s a very popular Russian name (the last Emperor of Russia was Nikolai II). The English version of that name is Nicholas. We nicknamed him Niko. My other favorite name was August, but my husband wasn’t a fan.

Yeah I find I’m loving lots of these names but my husband doesn’t ☹️

Owen james

Our nephew is called Owen and our friends little boy is James both lovely names ❤️

My son is Casee (pronounced like Casey, spelled the same as my maiden name). Middle name is Hunter

I like that name for a boy but I teach a girl with that name so I feel I couldn’t call my son it now ☹️

It's funny how we associate names with people! I'm a physical therapist and I remember when we were trying to figure out names when I was pregnant and I had to veto so many that my husband suggested because of patients that I've had in the past

My boys name is Woodrow, we shorten it to Woody :)

Aww that’s adorable!

Jensen is my sons name, I also really love the name Ellis

Both are lovely ❤️ thank you x

Not very original at all but we liked Maxwell, Theodore, Finnegan, and Monty /Montgomery - we went with Maxwell. Funny enough we had zero girl names :)

I'm due in about a month and we had a hard time agreeing on a name. I wanted something unique because I have a Japanese name. My boyfriend is a blonde hair, blued Tim. His siblings have classic timeless names too. We settled on Jaymes Timothy. James is a family name on my side. So Tim got his timeless classic name and I got my unique spelling.

Lately I have been considering the name Sullivan to pair with our current son Jameson. Nicknames Sully, Van or Ivan. I also like Tucker and Collins.

My 2 boys are Bohdi and Tylan 😊

We chose Austin Michael for you peanut, if it’s a boy 👦

My son’s name is Croix Heath 😃 Croix is pronounced like Kroy, it was taken from the island of St. Croix in the Caribbean.
