IT WORKED!!! IM PREGNANT!!!

Hi ladies! I’m new to the app and new to pregnancy. I’m 4 weeks and 4 days (ish). I have my first appointment on January 5th. I have no symptoms but I also don’t know how strong the symptoms should feel. First night not being able to get comfortable. Woke up at 2am and now I’ve been up ever since, it’s 5am. Definitely bloated and my lower belly feels hard. Im having a hard time being excited because I’m scared that for some reason, I may have a miscarriage. There’s been nothing to make me think that other than talking to other women who have. Just in a weird place with it. Advice? Words of encouragement? Thank you in advance!

My advice is to stay off google and trust your body

My symptoms were so mild in the beginning that I completely ignored them until 9 weeks 😹 I had light cramping and spotting when I was due my period but it never came in full, I've always been irregular so it wasn't something I thought twice about. I got badly bloated and stayed that way, just figured I was getting lockdown gut. Super tired and sleeping more than usual, blamed the depression. The only thing I couldn't figure out was the extremely sorry nipples! Then I started getting nauseous, husbo bugged me to take a test, and I got a BFP in the laundromat 🤣 I later developed hyperemesis gravidarum but that's a whole different story.

Im 2-3 weeks just found out on Friday, after having a miscarriage on the 20th of November so Im absolutely shitting myself. Its so so very early on and I've been testing twice a day just to see its real 😄 so far 0 symptoms apart from a few light cramps. Last time I had sore boobs but nothing so far of that. Im actually not contacting my DR until after uk lockdown so that I don't feel rushed into anything like last time. It all happened so quickly so I'd rather wait really. As its only been 4 weeks since my miscarriage happened as well. Everything will be fine. I promise and try not to Google every little niggle. Remember its normal to have aches and pains your body is rapidly changing 💕 drop me a message if you need to talk 😘

Of course! That is my birthday! Haha I have mine on the 4th! Haha I can have it earlier but I'm going to 7 weeks as sometimes at 6 apparently they might not be able to find a heart beat yet, as I'm such a worrier I will worry and think there is something wrong so I'm gonna go for 7 weeks 🤣🤣

I used this website a lot to remind myself that the numbers are in your favor. https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

I had the same feeling, I think it’s natural if you’ve ever had a miscarriage before. Just try to stay positive. When you get to the point where you can hear your baby’s heartbeat, get a doppler if you think it will help you keep your mind at ease.

You’re going to feel really bloated right now. Get a pregnancy journal. Don’t go out and buy everything you THINK you’ll need for pregnancy support (ie: stuff to battle morning sickness, etc etc) I have a big box of crap I bought of Amazon that I never used Analyze the access you have to other people’s lives through the internet. Is it helpful or hurtful for you in this journey? If it’s something that’s hurting more than helping, delete that app girl. Stay away from Google as much as possible. Googling realistic things is ok - “can pregnant women have soft cheeses?” Stuff like that. Anything else that’s not basic, write it down in a pregnancy journal and wait to ask your doc. Remember, you don’t truly have the “correct” answer for YOU until you consult with your OB. Your first ultrasound won’t be anything but that. 15 mins in and out. It’s an ultrasound tech so they can’t answer legit questions. Don’t worry! Stay calm and focused on positive things. Congrats!

Congratulations! It is so exciting when you find out you are finally pregnant. I found out at about 4 1/2 weeks as well. I felt very bloated and tired and a bit crampy. The excitement is hard to contain which is why you may have trouble sleeping and the first few weeks seem to take forever!! It’s totally normal to feel nervous, I was a bit of a wreck until about 10 weeks. Try to eat well, rest, and stay hydrated. Joining this app helped me a lot too especially in the early days. Having the doctor confirm your pregnancy and check everything out helps immensely. Wishing you the best!! It’s gonna be great!!

Congratulations!! We are roughly the same time frame. New mom? When I first found out I had a hard time sleeping. I would wake up in the middle of the night sweating! Also waking up super early is another one. Try not to worry, I did the same thing , my appointment isn’t until January 18th, so it’s hard not to. I decided to do self affirmations to help ease any anxieties. They’ve definitely helped so far!

I’m exactly the same as you so we’ll have the same due date🥰 I honestly haven’t had any symptoms that have been out of the ordinary for me, I had no idea I was pregnant I just took a test for the sake of it and turns out I was!

Congratulations!!! You are totally not alone with that feeling, I felt/feel the same way! Especially at the begining! As others have said, I'd recommend staying off of forums and apps for a bit. I felt like everything I read lead to a miscarriage so I was convinced our baby wouldn't "stick." It's such a unique and special time of your life, just try to soak it all in and enjoy it :) best wishes to you and congratulations!!

Congratulations! I don't suppose there's much anyone can say to stop you worrying, we've all been there. Assuming you're taking the recommended vitamins and not lifting stuff then there's not much more you can do. Obviously a certain amount of concern is a good thing as it will make sure you keep yourself informed and not do anything silly. However, the more you look into it the more you'll find reasons to think you're having a miscarriage. I had morning sickness fairly early on and wished I didn't. I then started to feel much better but I convinced myself that as my symptoms had gone, so had baby. The irony is I should've just been happy I wasn't feeling sick any more because it came back and the only way I could stop feeling sick was to eat! I put on quite a bit of weight before the baby could even have been responsible for it really!!! I'm the worst for anxiety but after all the worries I have a healthy 3 month old so it all worked out well in the end! I'm sure it will for you too. X

Congrats! Don’t worry about being excited, it will most likely come with time. You’re newly pregnant and it’s hard not to worry but worrying is normal. Just take your vitamins and drink your water and know that you can’t control the situation. I made a point to only watch positive pregnancy/birth videos online and I stay away from miscarriage posts on here. I was also really bloated at first so I felt like I was “showing” a little bit immediately. I slept like crap right off the bat because my stomach was sensitive and my mind was racing. One day at a time!

Omg same! I only found out yesterday!!! I'm 4 weeks!! Well 2 weeks since concieved! Congrats! I am also worried about miscarriage as its an exciting time and you don't want it to be ruined! I'm staying on Google which is probably the best thing!

I was scared to even sneeze at that stage so don’t worry!! Once you have your first scan it’ll settle you a little bit but I think it’s a worry the whole way through! I’m 22 weeks and terrified every day 😂 I found out at 3 weeks and probably got the majority of my symptoms at week 6/7 but everyone’s different. I also had some sleeping issues at the start, I moved into a different bedroom because the bed was better for me somehow. You’ll work it out but try not to worry, it’s totally normal 🥰

Congrats!!!! I just found out also! I'm 5 weeks! Besides my boobs getting larger, I havent had any other symptoms also. I understand being worried about a miscarriage, im right there with you, just trying to not think about it and hope for more symptoms the further I get along!!!

Congratulations. I was afraid of a miscarriage as well and still am at times. I’d say don’t spend to much time reading through threads that discuss others miscarriage experience. Take a break from the apps and just take it all in. Relax and don’t overthink anything. (If you can help it)

Congratulations! I would try not to worry, if anything was to happen hypothetically speaking it’s out of your control and not your fault so there’s no point worrying about miscarriage and things like that you don’t want to be stressing yourself out for no reason x
