My son is 4 months and it's tough filling the days. This is what I do to fill my days. Play on his mat on his own, tummy time, some time in his bouncy chair watching nursery rhymes, I carry him round the house showing him stuff, going out for a walk or even just a drive. I put him in his seat next to me whilst I wash up/bake as he seems happy to watch me and I chat to him as I go. Some practice sitting up with his toys... Then repeat. No harm in giving them a bath during the day of it doesn't uodmset your bedtime routine as something else to do.
