I don’t know what if anything was the thing to do it but I had been drinking raspberry leaf tea since week 34 and eating dates from probably week 36 and my little girl pretty much birthed herself without me actively pushing her out! Labour also started at 3am following a day where I had gone on a short walk, finally managed to collect some colostrum (nipple stimulation) and also begun using my ball more as I had been to a midwife appointment and been told she was back to back! So maybe a combination of them, maybe just coincidence? Looking back maybe I shouldn’tve been so surprised she came when she did!

Aw amazing thanks for sharing Alice. Sounds like a gorgeous birth experience 😍🙌🏽

So I can’t comment what has worked for me until a few days time but I’ve been having clary sage and Epsom salt bath soaks daily for over a week now. Then I sit on my birthing ball for about 30mind while my partner gives me a labour pain relief massage and touches on acupressure points. I’m about to isolate following covid test before I get induced but plan on trying lots of nipple stimulation to get some colostrum, lots of sex, more baths and much more time on the ball. May go for a couple dozen walks round the garden too! I’ve also been having one cup of raspberry leaf tea a day for a week but I may up consumption to two or three cups until I’m in hospital. I’ve also been burning clary sage oil while I’ve been in the bath and at night to help sleep (lol I know flames are dangerous but I haven’t had REM sleep for about a month now so I’d be aware if anything went wrong with the flame!!) I also haven’t done any perineum massage but will be starting that today! 🤞🏼 it all helps!
