What brand??

Does anyone have any advice on a good eyeliner or mascara? I've never worn a lot of eye makeup on a daily basis because I always end up looking like I have black eyes. If I use waterproof mascara it doesn't transfer, but I've heard daily use is bad for your eyelashes. Any suggestions?!

I have tried a bazillion mascaras and my all time favorite is Tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes! For eyeliner you can’t go wrong with Clinique quick liner

Hey, former makeup artist here, if your mascara is smudging there’s usually one of two issues going on- wrong base (lotion, makeup etc, whatever is on your face) or a poor quality product (most commonly top liquid). so first, check the products you’re using on your face- what’s your skin type? Are you using the approp. product? If you deal with allergies a lot I’d recommend trying Clinique- they also have one that only comes off with warm water or makeup remover, that might be worth a try for you. Otherwise Lancôme has the best easy-to-use-Allrounder mascaras, unfortunately Helena Rubinstein doesn’t sell much in the US. The thing about lashes breaking from daily use of mascara/ waterproof mascara is a myth, however it is important to take EVERYTHING off in the evening, depending on your body’s inner clock it starts to “refuel” between 8-10PM, at this point all your makeup should be off and your night care should be applied, otherwise your skin can’t breathe and can’t heal itself.
