Name advice - help

I really love the name Clementine for a girl but our surname is Clarke. Does it sound silly with the alliteration?

To go with my first daughter’s name - Ayla Elizabeth🩷 I can’t believe I’m now 34 weeks and still haven’t got a name decided yet🫣 I knew my first daughters name before I even knew she was a girl🤣
My partner is Turkish so we are trying to choose a name that works for Turkish and English pronunciation but stuck on these two because Alara feels too grown up for a baby (but I know we are naming an adult more so than a baby, it just feels slightly off?) and Zara just makes me think of the clothes shop🤣

Girl names!!

I need help choosing a name for my second girl. I don’t want anything unusual but I want gently unique. Not top 10 names as they are so common. I don’t like names like river, romy etc as they are too out there for my liking.
I also don’t care about it “matching” my first.

Double barrel surname

My boyfriend and I have been together 4.5 years and are expecting our first baby in January. We’re not married (not even engaged) and I wouldn’t say either of us are very traditional. My boyfriend has taken an issue with the fact I want our baby and future children to have both our surnames, and that I will likely have a double barrel surname when/if we do eventually get married. I’m quite independent and I like my family name, so I don’t think it’s a surprise to him but he seems offended by my decision and is constantly pushing me to take his name and to give our children his name. He says it’s ’the norm’ - I think it’s archaic. He’s implied we aren’t a proper family if we don’t all have the same name, so I suggested he also double barrel if we get married (of course he didn’t want to do that). His family also clearly don’t like it and keep calling our baby by his surname only. I’m not going to change my mind about the double barrel surname, but I’m just getting really bored of having the same conversation. Am I really being weird/unreasonable for standing my ground on this?

Help! I need a boys name, so today I found out I’m expecting again in as little as 6 weeks time, 3rd baby. Have a girl and a boy already! Found out we’re having another boy….. I just don’t like any boys names…. Please help!

Boy name to go with surname

So I've always loved the name Henry, but our surname is Heiron (pronounced like hi-ron), and I can't decide whether Henry Heiron is daft or OK. My husband says no, some friends like it.

Similar names

My daughters name is Maya (My-ya) and I am obsessed with the name Mila too. And everyone tells me they are too similar. Would it sound silly to call my next baby Mila (Me-la)?

Rupert but call him Rudy?

We love Rudy but it doesn’t feel full enough as a name on paper. I know nicknames names are super in right now but that’s just us. Rupert is cute but also formal/posh so we think works better as more of a “professional name” as it were. Like the Henrys that all go by Harry? Middle name will be August. Does this work?

So Ive just found out yesterday im having a little girl and I can’t stop thinking about what her name should be now lol. Im very set on her middle name being olive (as its a special name to me) and im just trying to find the perfect name for her that suits the middle name

Lola or Lila Olive (I like one and my partner likes the other lol)

That’s about it for now as any other name we’ve thought of we can’t have or changed our minds lol.
