Separate Birthday Parties

My son is turning 1 next month. And I am not inviting his dad to the party that I’m planning and paying for. I feel he can throw a party/celebrate on his own time. There’s been too much turmoil between us, especially with him ruining milestones and forever tainting memories, so I don’t want my son’s 1st birthday party to be another. Anyone else celebrate birthdays separately?

Had my Oct 3rd baby!

I had my October 3rd baby on September 23rd! She came a week early and is sooo beautiful and healthy! Praise God 🥰🥰

Someone said these October babies like to come early and I should’ve listened 😂🤭

As we approach the 1 year mark for our babies. Just wanted to say I’m proud of us! It’s not easy being a mum sometimes but we’ve got through it.

Our babies will always be our babies no matter how old or big they get.

Very very far from my birth plan, however very grateful to have her here safe and sound! So in love!

Looks like my baby girl wanted her own birthday month 😂 her older brother is October and her due date was supposed to be October 16th but baby girl wants to be a star not a follower.

Nursery gifts

Question for those whose kids are in nursery/preschool.
My son started at a school nursery earlier this month so all the kids are new to each other and so are the parents, we don’t know the children’s likes and dislikes yet.
He’s been invited to a birthday party this weekend and I imagine there will be a few parties to come over the year. How much is a good amount to spend on a gift and would a gift card be a good present considering the kids don’t know each other well yet?

I'm getting ready for my 4 yr olds bday party in a few days and I'm putting the goodie bags together for 10 kids including my son but... should I make him one too? Or are all the presents he's going to get enough? wwyd?

So I do not have any friends with children or many friends at all lol and I was wondering if any mommy’s would like to join my son and I for his third birthday ? My mother passed a year ago and she was pretty nice with planning and inviting family but I am not that good at that. My son’s father/my fiance has also passed recently and I am just hoping that friends can join and show love for my son…
