Holiday price

My daughter is turning 2 iv taken her abroad 3 times . But i find it ridiculous that because she is 2 i have to pay full price for her place. I am a single parent so dont qualify for two adult free child place. I understand paying for seat on the plane. But for hotel room etc. anyone any holiday ideas?
