When can my son start solids?

My son is 4 months old. He eats 5 ounces of milk every 3 hours. I’m just curious when we can start trying out some oatmeals or cereals. When did you guys try with your little ones?

Weaning and finger sucking

My LO will stick his fingers in his mouth every meal time (I’m guessing for comfort) but when he eats he puts his fingers in his mouth after every mouthful which seems to be the only way he swallows purée. Does anyone else’s baby do this? I worry he’s not ready for food yet as he can’t sit unaided. He’s 6 months and...

Weaning question (afraid of over eating)

My question is if baby is consuming everything that is being given to them when do you drop feeds etc. I am very afraid of over feeding? Would welcome any experiences with this or wise words from mummies who are also anxious about this. My baby is 6.5 months, we have just started weaning as he can now sit independe...

Breakfast options

What are some good breakfast options? My little one won’t have porridge or weetabix, so we always end up doing the same few dishes - toast with toppings, omlette strips, vegetable egg muffins, sweet or savoury pancakes. Any recommendations welcome!

Starting solids

How long did it take for your LO to get used to solids? My LG has had carrots 4 times and had broccoli once now. She cried and moans the whole time

Any other baby still in purées/mashed food?

My son is 9 months and 2 weeks and still eats mostly mashed foods because I have crazy anxiety of offering him soft pieces. He choked once at 7 months and I needed to help him and since that day I can’t feed him soft food without freak out. We tried again at 8 months and he looked like he was chewing but in the end...

Toddler food… tell me I’m not alone 😩

My little girl is 18 months and that last few weeks she has barely eaten. She no longer wants to eat breakfast but then wants a snack the second we leave the house. She’s not wanting to eat food she loves before and is leaving half of her food the majority of the time. We try to limit snacks but some days that’s all...

Trouble eating

My 2 month old is eating in increments. She’s not sick or anything. She usually eats 3 1/2- 4oz per feed. Now she’s eating maybe 2 oz at a time, then another 2 a few hours later. Anybody else experience this? Any advice to get her to eat all at once like she used to?
