Return to work

Those of you who have already returned to work how did you manage it? I have to go back full time and my boy has to go into nursery/have people care for him 5 days per week. How did you still spend time with them? Did you get hours reduced etc on some days or not? I feel I’ll be picking him up from nursery and then ...

My maternity officially ended on the first of April, I’ve been using last years annual leave up and now I’ve just had an operation which puts me off sick. Now that my childcare (grandparents) have health issues we’re debating whether it’s even worth me going back to work. Does anyone know if the returning to work fo...

Anxious about going back to work

We are not eligible for any free childcare because my husband earns too much. Our nursery is 2300 GBP a month. If we put a baby in the nursery, i will only have 1000 left of my salary. How can my work expect me to pay for a full time childcare ? Can I tell them that e can only afford part-time? Is it within my rights?
