PCOS friendly recipes?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I figured I'd give it a shot! So recently my doc mentioned I might have PCOS. We haven't done testing yet because the next available appt is in June but my doc wants me to treat my body like I have it so that I might feel better. So low sugar diet, no gluten, good clean food. Thanks in advance 🩷

What an amazing doctor you have!! Awesome to hear that you never hear of traditional doctor’s suggesting diet change for things like this!! Do Buddha bowls and salads. Nuts seeds beans fresh greens olive oil and coconut oil and avocado oil only also flax seed oil

I found out that exercising and eating lean helped my PCOS too. My meal consisted of lean ground turkey with vegetables, those frozen bags with different types all mix together in a tomato sauce with some rice. I did many variations of lean meat and veggies (I have never been a fan of salads ). For sweets I only had fruits that were in season and not too many because some can be super sugary. I did not consume anything with added sugars and if I was craving sweet drinks I would make tea with honey or Monk Fruit. It really helped me improved my menses to the point that I became regular. Hope it helps a bit 💕

Thank you ladies! 🩷

@Julia What kind of exercises did you do? I watched a video of a girl talking about her PCOs, and she said her doctor recommended slow and controlled weight lifting and walking?

@Summer I did HITT classes every day then I alternate days doing these other exercises: Bike in the gym for another 10 minutes after class - not too intense - then I would go and lift some weights in the squat rack and some others in the machine for chest area. I would also use the free weights for my arms. I made my own routine with the help of a trainer then I just followed it myself.
