Yes it is weird. I just joined yesterday. I don’t know if I really care about the “matching” feature, but I do enjoy the convo in the groups.
The number of times I swipe the wrong way
The ghosting is crazy after the conversations have been long and going great to the point you think a play date is the next step.

I feel the same. I've never done anything like this and really the only friends I have are workplace friends. So I thought it would be nice to make mom friends and find playmates for my kids. But I am not completely comfortable with all this yet
The process is weird, I don't think people want to meet in real life. Not everyone on here is like that buy most people. It shouldn't be this hard
@Adriana agree. It's been weird, having great convo and then about to set a date and then ghosted. It's very odd. Other convo are like pulling teeth and then there's tons of waves and then no response once I wave back and message. It's so weird. @Virmarie I agree never done dating app, this is very weird. It doesn't seem like a lot of women want or have the time to make actual connections, it's sad because that's what I am here for. I'm not here for superficial interactions.
Try the pods. You can listen in those & hear people speak & get to know them by their conversation. Then you can shoot em a message about the topic or whatever & it’s a great way to more authenticlly connect. Also a lot of people exchange phone numbers and just talk off the app. That helps solve the getting disconnected bit of it. People have super busy lives. Even though we are real people this is another feature or app on our phone & if we have to focus somewhere else & put down the phone for a season of life then it just is what it is. I really like the app. There are professionals on here that offer so much help & if your ever lonely or bored you can interact with real people via pods & not just veg out on what’s fake on tv.

I have to admit that I have downloaded and deleted this app a couple times just because I'm still not sure if it's for me. I'm definitely more of the disposition to be a wallflower as well so thanks to @dya for getting out of her shell because it encouraged me to get out of mine.

Honestly I usually don’t swipe because no one is in my area. Sometimes I find cool ppl to talk to but then I just don’t have the energy to talk
I just want to ask what were you hoping to gain from the app? What are your other options? Have you tried all aspects of the app? Have you allowed ample time with the app to make a clear decision about if it’s a good fit for you? If you answered these questions within yourself & you came up with no good reasons to be on the app, then my last question would be. Why are you still here on the app? I like the app, nothings perfect but I’ve seen a lot of good here. 2.5 million people use this app. If you new give it a chance. If you still don’t see the value that’s ok. Not everything is for everyone. For those who stick around hi y’all we are glad you’re here. Blessings to all the mommas & all the babies. Keep your head up, you got this ❤️
@Jamaica I can understand how you could feel that way. It’s often not easy to put yourself out there and it’s most certainly harder for some than others. Relationships are real things with so many unknown variables. You can totally do this!! Even if you have to take a deep breath from time to time. Kudos to you for trying again! Being out of your comfort zone can be mentally and emotionally exhausting, at least for me. The growth though, it’s a great feeling. Even if you don’t stay on the app, don’t give up and I won’t either lol. I’m going to need to look back at this when I need to give myself a pep talk 😂😂
