Nesting ideas?!

Hi guys, I’m really looking forward to the nesting urge kicking in (I’m 30 weeks) but I want it to be productive and logical if possible haha I does anyone else have a list of things they want to get done or are you all just planning on going with the flow of whatever you get the urge to do? I’m really hoping it kicks in soon as this is my first week of maternity leave and so far I’ve been too busy or tired to want to anything other than the usual household jobs 😅 I’m hoping next week I’ll feel refreshed and can actually start being productive 🤞🏻

I have been just taking one room at a time and having a proper clear out for now. It's actually felt really good, getting stuff to the tip and selling some old clothes on vinted, I've made over £200 which is gonna go towards baby classes etc when I'm on mat leave. I finish for annual leave on 7th June going into mat leave so will do deep cleans and wash all my baby clothes then I think. I've found it easier just doing it room by room xxx

I’ve found focusing on rooms has been too taxing on my energy levels so I’ve been tackling it one cupboards /drawer at a time. Having a clear out and organising things in small little spurts has really helped. Often I finish the task I started and then have the energy to do more but I’m never disappointed in myself if I don’t.

That’s a good idea! We have some toy and storage cupboards that are definitely on my list so might try and do them one at a time first 🤞🏻

I’m 28 weeks and I’ve completed my nesting of the whole house 😂🙈

I think once you start you won't stop. I've got a list of everything I want to get done before my Maternity leave starts 😁
